Sadly I can't make the meeting. Apologies to all.
I expect the agenda is set and the trust have issues they want to discuss, however I hope the membership has thought about the possible developments once the council have made their decision re Perdiswell.
Scenario 1 is that the council rejects the idea. I'm under the impression that Hampson and co will try and move to Sixways. What will the trust do then? Will it back the move? Will it abandon Perdiswelll?
Scenario 2 is that the council supports Perdiswell. If Hampson and co reject this move what do the trust do? And if Hampson accepts this what do we do?
Frankly I think we should have nothing to do with Hampson and the board, but if the council back Perdiswell and Hampson doesn't then it may well be time to think about a new club.
I'm not trying to cause trouble here, just thinking ahead so we can plan future moves.

So what is happening with the main application? Come to the meeting and find out. A great idea Creaner - it'd be a good opportunity for downthelane to sit down with yourself and Mr Pitt and Mr Widdowson and discuss developments and the situation on both sides.

Agreed, I've always been completely open and happy to talk with anyone whether they are onside, or have reservations. I can't always give answers, but I'll always try. And if anyone has questions but can't make the meeting, email me, jeremy.pitt@firenet.uk.com

The question has been asked several times before with no answer, so why reluctant not to provide an update on the planning here. The application was submitted almost three years ago, and we are always told it is going to the next meeting.

So what is happening with the main application? Come to the meeting and find out. That is not a very helpful response Rob, some of us cannot make it to the meeting !

We've called a Trust meeting to update everyone, I'm not sure why you are so reluctant to come. Hope you can make it.

The answer is as it always has been. There is a process that our team have to work within, working with the various council departments, making sure that our plan complies with requirements, and all documentation will go to the planning committee when we are in a position where we are confident of a positive outcome. Remember, we are putting a planning application together for less than £50,000, and it took SMD 5 years to put together a planning application for Nunnery Way which cost in excess of £600,000. If we had more resources at our disposal, it is possible that the process could have been shorter. There's no reluctance to give an update, its just that the update is that we are still going through the process. Our team are not dedicated to the project, they have day jobs, and are volunteering tens of thousands of pounds to this project. Do you think that if there was some significant update that we would not broadcast it?

The application was submitted almost three years ago, and we are always told it is going to the next meeting. We've called a Trust meeting to update everyone, I'm not sure why you are so reluctant to come. Hope you can make it. The more cynical amongst us might deduce that downthelane has deliberately posted an initial message about an unconnected planning application for a periphery of Perdiswell in full knowledge that it has no bearing on the actual situation about the Community Sport Hub and Stadium - to then make a weak and facile "point" criticising the Supporters Trust (as downthelane is widely known to be anti-ST and pro-Inner Board sycophant) for not broadcasting information where there is no information TO broadcast. A refusal to come to the next meeting and instead demand sensitive information that may not be for the ears of non-Trust Members kind of gives that away...
