Got to agree. Very basic for 10.5 million. No diving boards. At least the residents will be happy with possibly over 500 people a day using the facilities instead of the football club having 500 every second Saturday.

Remember what this has been built for. It's not a play pool. This has been built to provide a serious regional short course swimming facility. In order to be financially viable, this will be used as part of a National short course swimming infrastructure. Its built for function, which is why its 8 lanes, and 25 metre long. It is quite boring!

Didn't realise it was 'just' 25m. I suppose the full 50 would have cost even more!!! Would it have been too much to combine say the pool with the football ground - the length of the pool plus a few metres either end could have made one side/end of the ground.... never mind.
