Saturday's league game vs AFC Telford United has been confirmed as being segregated Does that mean that the away (in this case Telford) fans, can't use the social club at VG for a pre match or half time pint? If thats the case, where do away fans drink?

Away fans at all segregated games at victoria ground cannot use the bar, there are a few pubs localy for before the game but it looks like bovril at half time or a can with ring-pull removed...

Just for the record, when they (Telford) came to Chorley last game of last season - they brought 100+, of which about half came in the Chorley social club and spent their money without any problems. Just out of interest, do WCFC get any of the profit/takings from the BSFC social club, on days when City play at VG?

Not sure if WCFC get any 'cut' for refreshments during match days......did we get any benefit at Aggy??
But interestingly (mentioning Chorley), I was talking to a couple of Chorley chaps at the Vic the other week having remarked that I'd also spoken to them in the Harriers Arms last season (confirmed by them) when they visited for the City game. Whilst WCFC welcomed them at Aggy's Harriers Arms (Final Whistle) last season, KHFC did not welcome them this season and ushered them over to the separate Supporters Club bar where they also had to pay £1, or so. for a temporary membership in order to get in for a pint.
So it appears, quite rightly, that segregation is taken on individual merit, such as number of visiting fans together with the potential 'fear factor' in the aggro department.
I think Chorley brought 'just under a bus load' when they played us which was about the same number that arrived at Kiddy a couple of weeks before.
A good set of lads, them thar Chorley Boys.
Dodger.

A blow for the Telford game - Fitzpatrick could play against us, and Boot has gone on loan to Macclesfield! I like Ethan Ross as a keeper and hope he does well between the sticks tomorrow, but worried about not having a keeper on the bench. I suppose if need be Jacko could fill in à la Thommo style though.

Right before the usuals start piping up, let me put this to bed now.
The officers in attendance today were spotters, one being a bobby from Worcester who is now working alongside my FIO from Kiddy, the other a spotter from Telfords end.
Worcester City FC does not pay a penny for spotters in the ground nor do we pay for Police should we dial those all important 3 digits.
Worcester City FC ONLY pays for the attendance of Police at a match should we request Special Police Services. If you wish to bore yourself with the information and costs of how much per hour each cost then stick it into google and third down the page is Shropshire Polices 16/17 rates.
In my years as Safety Officer...only once have i known us to pay for this service and that was at Sheffield United. Not one home match had seen us request SPS.

Pushed the boat out and had a pie at half time. For the price, they are brilliant. Chips aren't great, but what do you expect?
Was a good game in my opinion - though I thought it would end 1-1 once they scored.
I think we need to give a lot of credit to Carl for the squad he has built now. Just look at the bench today: Jackman, Bishop, Evans, Sharpe, Steele. Club captain with a few hundred football league appearances to his name, Sharpe who has played professionally for several years, Steele who has 5-6 assists already this season, and Evans who is only 23 and already has 40+ games under his belt as a professional before coming to the semi-professional game. Not bad at all.
