Well the mountain is crumbling but the King is not giving up his Crown and wants talks with the Trust now after how he treated them, what a damn cheek!
The terms are you talk to ALL shareholders and you treat them with respect from now on and come with the following offers:-
1. Your apology for your unprofessional conduct at both the 'Pre-EGM' and the 'EGM' and offer your resignation.
2. You agree to have the club solicitors find a more appropriate and relevant constitution to replace the contentious and out of date one currently in place and allow the trust and shareholders time to examine it and request amendments to anything unsatisfactory and a disadvantage of rights of any shareholders before it is approved.
3. That new constitution to include the rule that a shareholder is only allowed one vote no matter how many shares they own. (N.B. this is not negotiable but must be enshrined in the constitution.)
4. That shareholders must be allowed the right to redeem their shares for the money they invested for what ever reason. (N.B. this too is not negotiable and must too be enshrined in the constitution.)
5. That Board members can only serve for a maximum of five years in any one post on the Board and a total maximum of 10 years on the Board.
6. AGM's will from now on take place every year without fail and Board members will be expected to accept all questions from shareholders and have relevant information prepared and available at the said meeting and if shareholders are unhappy, reconvene a second meeting 14 days later to provide answers where shareholders were not happy with those provided at the first meeting before an 'AGM' can be approved and signed off.
I expect the Trust might have their own requirements but for me as a shareholder this is what I need to see implemented if I am to have any future faith and loyalty in the Club otherwise it's the phoenix club for me!

If you have read through the suggestions for change I have listed in the prior comment please could you indicate if you are in favour of some or all of my points and let me know who you are and whether you are a shareholder of just a regular fan so it is possible to see if it is worth collating a petition of signatures if we can rally enough support and insist on change at the Club. Many thanks

It's been said the ST will have a fans meeting in the near future - could the terms for cooperation with the club be covered in this meeting? People submit their terms beforehand, have a popular vote at the meeting on each as to if it should be suggested, and leave it to Dave and the ST board to negotiate the terms with the club?
It seems all utterly mad to me, but something has to be done - be that with Worcester City FC, or the phoenix suggestion. Whatever the course of action, I think we all need to think about it, not just decide on impulse.

Hampson must go before the Trust has anything to do with WCFC. Otherwise it will just be the same old tricks and lies.

This is not impulse my friend I have been very unhappy with how the Club has been run for a number of years and hence why I now lean more towards and support the Trust model. Thursday just brought latent ideas and musing to a head when I realised that the Mr Hampson we all thought was a good guy a few short years ago turned out in fact to be the stooge Chairman choice of the old Board and has started showing his true colours and intentions. He will now be forever tainted as a business as usual, no need to change anything, waste of time and space now and I cannot countenance any more inertia at the helm of the Club or the influence of those interfering behind the scenes old board members dictating matters anymore.

Believe me, some of us have been planning for all possible outcomes for the last 4 years at least, nothing will be done on impulse, nothing that has been done to date has been done on impulse. You saw that pile of documentation that we presented at the EGM? That was only a part of it, it didn't include the mountains of emails, and of course various meetings with all the experts in this field over the years. But we've always had to be ready just in case we were called upon at very short notice.

I'm not overly keen on Hampson, but if the course of action fans want to take is to support WCFC in its most troubled time - I think we should be careful.
Many believe Hampson to be a puppet of the previous board, who control a large portion of shares (enough to fail votes). Why would we want to add Hampson to the list of 'ex board members we don't want around our club'?
I'm not sure what the best plan of action is, each option has so many ifs buts and maybes, but alienating everyone we don't get on with sounds just a bit too counter intuitive to me. Of course - I could probably be enlightened.

And Mr Hampson can you request Anthony Collins solicitors to desist from further work and save the club some money until the future of the Club is resolved. Plus as we have already spent goodness knows what with them I trust you have asked them to sponsor a board at Bromsgrove?

I more meant I don't want fans to decide if they are pro 'help WCFC' or pro 'phoenix' through impulsiveness alone, should that be the decision to make. I'm open to the idea of both, I think all should be. There's an argument for and against both ideas, although I am leaning towards one option over the other currently - again, I'm happy to be enlightened by anyone who thinks they can sell a case to me.

EE PLEASE DO NOT THINK I AM PRO THE BOARD, BUT you have asked for opinions. 1. I was not at the pre EGM so can't comment, as for the EGM apart from what may have been on the screen there was not AOB on the agenda, it was simply a vote. 2. Why pay an expensive law firm to do this job, when we could possibly offer free advertising to a local firm in lieu of fees. 3. Why should someone with 3,000 shares have the same vote as someone with just 1, it would not attract new investors. 4. Would agree with this if we were a profitable business. All the proxy 'against votes' on Thursday could bankrupt us. 5. We probably have way under the required number of board members now, people simply do not come forward for the job. 6. Absolutely right. Emotions are running far too high at the moment, most of us need to take a step back & think more logically. In my opinion, the trust are doing this on our behalf. Stay away from home matches, stop supporting the various fund raising schemes etc is an option to hit the club in the pocket. But I personally think this is another decision that we should be guided by the trust who I am sure will be considering already. Between them they have a wealth of knowledge, masses of dedication, some real experts & possibly more important the will to win. I personally go to very few home matches since leaving the lane. But would instead of going those few times happily donate my entrance fee to the trust...... What do people think of that as an idea to follow ?

Hi Jimbo, Thanks for your feedback and these are the sorts of comments I want hear from people. I don't have all the answers and since Anthony took charge I have been happy to go along with him at the helm but it has taken an EGM to even get a discussion from the Board about the Trust Plans some four years after they were unveiled. Why didn't Anthony arrange an open discussion on the subject at any time during those wasted years with shareholders and fans alike and express these reservations he now seems to have found but till recently have never been expressed. If he had done that simple thing plus organised those missing AGM's I would probably never have got to this point in my decision making. Yet here I am thinking about exploring ways to bring this sad saga to a rapid conclusion be it the folding of the Club which is not something I want but feel is pretty much a certainty in the next couple of years. Be it the Trust plan or a combined Trust Club plan but these discussions have not ever emerged with shareholders participation and now four years down the line after stringing the Trust along that the Club was in principle working with the Trust, we find that in fact the opposite has been true. Put into the equation the revolving door of pals onto and off the Board that still influence behind the scenes. Where is the opportunity for shareholders to have any influence on this closed shop clique who will not let go of power. To then invite members of the Trust to stand on the Board and hold meetings about the Clubs future without those Board members present is completely unacceptable. They are shareholders too and only want to see the Club prosper and grow, so why the secrecy if everyone is supposed to be working together for the greater good. I feel the Trust has been honourable in their rolls on the Board till they found them to be untenable but cannot say I think that of the Boards members since Anthony took up the reigns. I have just reached the point where I no longer find the Board credible or worthy of my trust or support and Thursday was the final nail in the coffin and confirmed all my darkest fears about the Board and ultimately the Clubs future in their hands. I do not suggest the things above in my list at the top of the thread lightly they are my vision of how I would like the club to be changed if it is to have any chance of a credible future I have any faith and Trust in. The boycotting of things that bring in finance to the Club is regrettable but faced with little or no consultation or consideration as a shareholder is an easy way to show the Club our collective displeasure not only with the last two Thursdays proceedings but the litany of false hopes and failures in duty such as the missing AGM's over a number of years. The total failure in trying to find other ways of plugging that funding gap if indeed much effort has been made there? It seems to me it is failure after failure without end. No Anthony needs to go. So if he won't do the honourable thing he has to be forced. Apologies for any typos but getting weary.

The Club is a veritable orchard of rotten apples. Time to burn it down and plant some new saplings.

When all this started to kick off my initial reaction was one of "I can't believe that Anthony is that bad. I always thought he was a good guy. I don't want to start missing games etc etc". I'm sure many others felt the same way. But then the situation suddenly hit me. These were just the same thoughts that I, and many others I suspect, had when the last saga was going on(ie the Boddy/Hallmark SGL/Nunnery way fiasco.). Unfortunately if you keep seeing the "good" in people, and putting your own enjoyment first, this plays into the hands of the very people who are wrecking the club. It's not so bad for me-I'm not from Worcester-and I can only imagine how bad the true Worcester people feel as I feel bad enough-but the time has come for things to be done.I have my 10 game ticket which I will use(I'd be a fool not to as I have paid for it)and I hope to attend plenty of away games(as always)to keep in touch with my friends but the days of going to every home game have gone. I have a season ticket at Sutton who , I'm afraid, will be seeing more of me than ever before this year. I hope this doesn't upset any of my friends but, as Jem said in a previous post, sometimes that is a risk you have to take.!!

Hi Jamie, I don't think you could be accused of upsetting anyone Jamie, you are just speaking as you see it. Of course you must go and watch the games you have already paid for but hope depending on how things pan out think twice before buying anymore. Hopefully by the time you might consider buying those an answer that is satisfactory to all parties can be found so just keep an eye on things like you do. All the best Simon
