But why are certain directors acting like this? What's their motive?

What indeed are their motives! this Trust plan has been around since before we left SGL. In all the time that has elapsed since then the Board has not seen fit to even discuss the Trust proposals with shareholders, indeed they didn't even feel they needed AGM's for a number of years till the last one we had a few months ago and even then the subject of the Trust proposals was not brought up and a satisfactory explanation for the failure to hold those AGM's. Any good will that Anthony and the others made from extricating the Club from the now notoriously infamous Nunnery Way project has long been lost but what appears to be a section of the Board acting as they see fit rather than consulting the entire Board or indeed shareholders. It seems clear that we have an 'Inner Board' and an 'Outer Board' as the 'Inner Board' dictate on issues. This latest delay on dealing with the Clubs future openly, with all Board members and shareholders, given the precarious state of Club finances is frankly unbelievable, outrageous and totally unacceptable anymore. If this 'Inner' Board is going to blatantly continue to exercise it's dictatorial and seemingly secretive agenda, then one has to call into question the right of those Board members to continue in their posts. It upsets me to draw this conclusion but the 'Inner' Boards recent antics greatly disappoint at this moment in time. I hope by the time of the 'EGM' they are willing to explain their actions and motives if there is to be any future faith in the 'Inner' Board by shareholders as my view of them at the moment is lower than rock bottom.
