WCFC website is so out of date, we have team pictures of players that left ages ago, new players with no picture or just not on the list, there are so many updates that need addressing before we go into the new season including the new address, as from ST's last meeting we are having an office & shop at bromsgrove, presume we will have a post box & telephone, so this needs addressing & any other bits to keep us fully functional & upto date,

The club website is going through a process of updating, be assured that this will be done as soon as is possible. We are aware of some of the shortcomings on the site, and will happily take ideas from supporters as to what you want to see on there.

Just found this on the Worcester News site. SUPPORTERS’ hopes of taking over the ownership of Worcester City could be realised this summer after a meeting to decide on the club’s future was called.
City’s board has received a request by Worcester City FC Supporters’ Trust to vote on changing the constitution of the club.
The extraordinary general meeting (EGM) will give shareholders the chance to choose whether City should stay as a limited company or follow in the footsteps of Portsmouth, Exeter City and FC United of Manchester to become a fan-owned club.

So vice-chairman Colin Layland finally discloses the Board have a Plan B but are not prepared to disclose it LOL.How many times have shareholders asked in the past for alternatives and at this late hour a secret plan has been hatched. It beggars belief, a Board? more like a secret society.

I need to speak to someone when the season starts about the transferring of shares from my grandad to myself.

Well pleased to hear that the Board might have a 'Plan B' and haven't been waiting for divine intervention but I agree with you Greenman, why is the supposed plan shrouded in secrecy? It suggests to me a third party might be involved and given what happened the last time the shareholders were led down this route, by the then Board, I feel any such plan will need VERY close scrutiny indeed! As for a secret society, I also tend to concur with you, as it was not that long ago we were being told things would be a lot more transparent, so I don't want to hear we cannot give you many details at this time or the identity of the third party, if a third party is part of the plan, that just won't wash. If Colin and the Board have an alternative I will happily listen but if they cannot reveal details, especially with time being so critical for the Clubs future I will be voting against it and I hope all other shareholders who are similarly frustrated and concerned about the lack of AGM's and open discussions about the Trust Plans to date will ask probing questions and don't allow themselves to be fobbed of with "We cannot answer that at this time" sort of replies and vote accordingly.
Hi wcfcnb82, Suggest you have a word with Jeremy Pitt or John Jordan as they are probably the best people to guide you through what forms have to be completed to transfer your grandfathers shareholding to yourself.

If there is a plan B, great ! However, I cannot agree with the comments regarding the fact that they should be made public (YET). Some boardroom stuff has to be kept confidential for the security of the business. However, the PR side of this is a joke..... Why on earth haven't (at least the shareholders) been told there is a possible alternative, at the very least we could have had a little more faith in them. Perhaps this is the reason the new board members, including The Trust representatives have not been as transparent as I'd have hoped.

Surely if there is a plan B - all board members would be aware of it. This would include club board members associated with the Supporters Trust.

Hi Jimbo, Under normal circumstances I would agree with you with regards to the confidentiality aspect but we don't have the luxury of time if our Club is to survive. Being spoon fed tit bits of information by the Board at this stage is unacceptable and the way they messed one of the shareholders about saying a transfer of shares from one owner to another was complete and then when the EGM request is lodged it is rejected under, what I think were stalling tactics, that the transfer was not recorded smacks of the Board possibly being up to no good. No we have waited patiently and in good faith since we left SGL waiting for the Board to present the Trust proposals to shareholders, having indicated they were supportive of the plans. Yes they must be applauded for looking for an alternative but with the Club finances dwindling fast and nothing so far presented by the Board or decided upon be it the Trust or Board alternative we cannot let more time elapse without shareholders having details of what they have been or are working on so we can make an informed judgement which way to vote. If the Board is unable to furnish shareholders with details at the EGM when will they, when the money has all gone? No we need this information, this shouldn't be a secret society now, this club has been let down too often in recent years. As for your reference to the dual Board and Trust Board members it is possible that they have been excluded from meetings about this 'Plan B' and hence why they have not been forthcoming with information. The truth is we don't know but this is our opportunity to find out by asking them at the meeting and if they were in the dark like you and I about 'Plan B' then it sounds like Board is not being honest and open with all it's Board members, let alone us plebeian shareholders, so one has to draw your own conclusions.

The quote about plan B is:
“As far as we are concerned, Perdiswell is our preferred option, and until the council sort everything out we won’t be looking at a Plan B,” Layland said.
“We have got a Plan B, but we won’t be disclosing it before Perdiswell has been sorted.”
It doesn't state that ''plan B'' is to relocate to a ground in Worcester. A worrying thought.

Yes my friend I saw that but as I am becoming ever more sceptical with the way things have been dragged out by the Board I wonder if there really is a 'Plan B'. I hope there is as it would be good to have a choice but I wonder if it might just be a red herring stalling tactic. From what I understand our Perdiswell plans may be being held up because this vote on the Trust plans has not taken place so the Council does not know what business animal Worcester City is, the old Club or a new 'Community Share' owned Club. If you were the Council would you not want that resolved?

It was said about two months ago in a club statement that the club structure would be looked at after the planning application, so there's nothing new there. I would have thought it made more sense to be a CBS before Perdiswell, but that's the way it is. Edit: the club statement mentioned: www.worcestercityfc.com/news/board-statement-1592964.html

Yes my friend I fully agree it would have made more sense for the Club structure issue to have been presented at an EGM, voted and acted upon long before now and I think the Board needs to explain why this has not been done as I am told the Board has been the stumbling block and delay over this issue. I just feel after all this time I want straight honest answers from the Board at the EGM and a decision made one way or another rather than dithering any longer and creating more frustration and mistrust and most importantly wasting time the Club has not got. Off to catch some much needed zeds now before my over tired walnut sized brain seizes up.

The cynical side of my brain has been mulling over what this 'Plan B' might be over night. With no information and my 2+2=5 or more speculative hat on I have been wondering if it could be one of the following:-
A tie up with Worcester University so they club could play on their grounds and form a hub to a sporting academy like that at Loughborough?
Maybe they have been in touch again with our friend at the Warriors about building a stadium next door?
Given our Boards link with people on the Bromsgrove Sporting Board, maybe a merger of the two clubs with the view of building a stadium on the edge of Bromsgrove nearer the station and to be called Worcester & Bromsgrove City Rovers F.C. or some suitable agreed similar name?
As Malvern were in financial bothers recently maybe a tie up with them and either develop their stadium up to the required level or build another on the outskirts of Malvern?
Could they have been in talks with a famous ex professional League player or group of players who want to take Worcester on as a project like that at Salford City?
Perhaps be supported my local clubs as a feeder club for the likes of WBA, Villa, Wolves, Walsall and Birmingham where their young trainees can learn their craft and develop while playing at and for City?
Is it possible there is no 'Plan B' and that it being used as a stalling tactic to confuse shareholders?
I am sure many of you can think or dream up other possible ideas as to what this 'Plan B' is. The bottom line is the Board has to provide some information about this alleged 'Plan B' at the EGM anything less is unacceptable at this time.

So here we are with an EGM finally called and shareholders expected to vote on constitutional change, the biggest decision in the Club's history and at this late hour it has been suggested by the Vice Chairman there is a Plan B?
Why I ask has this not been alluded to before as the decision on which way to vote could be affected if indeed the alternative has any credibility. Will the Plan B, be shared before the EGM or will it remain a close secret never to be disclosed if the vote goes in favour of the motion.
Whatever the outcome I hope that shareholders will remember this farce, and the profligate use of Club funds to delay the EGM

We all know that however hard the Council say they will appear to look in Worcester, that the Perdiswell site is the only realistic place for any new stadium. All other green spaces have already been looked at and ruled out. It would appear to me that the " Club " Board members have little enthusiasm for the fight, whereas the " Supporters Trust " Board members are all for it. So if Perdiswell fails, the Club Board members have a Plan B ?
With the new artificial pitch for 2016/17 at Worcester Warriors allowing for " new commercial revenue streams such as concerts, festivals and other non-rugby events ", I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Club finally ended up playing there with the Club Directors watching from the Hallmark Bar !

This Board are a complete joke. So suddenly from nowhere there is a plan B? Is this because the board don't back Perdiswell. Have you ever really heard or seen this board backing Perdiswell? Ever seen them present the Perdiswell plans or keep fans updated with stuff on Perdiswell? The Supporters Trust do everything, they are the ones who are backing Perdiswell. THe board obviously want this plan B, so if its better than Perdiswell why wait till now to tell us it even exists? Or is Colin Leyland just talking out of his a**e. Either way, how come these clowns run our football club?

The bottom line is the Board has to provide some information about this alleged 'Plan B' at the EGM anything less is unacceptable at this time. I'll give my thoughts on each question in order... 1. Good idea, but would the university be able to produce players good enough for this level? They've struggled to do so to date. 2. Warriors have said there is not room, as they use all their training grounds - there's a letter from them on the planning portal about it. 3. Many fans of both clubs would hate that. 4. Many fans of both clubs would hate that. 5. Who would be interested in Worcester? There's not much of a pool of local footballers who were paid the big money that the class of '92 did. 6. I'm pretty sure there was an official link between Birmingham and ourselves a few years ago, but it was never really utilised. Why would a Birmingham club want to back us ahead of the likes of Solihull Moors, Kidderminster, Telford? 7. YES!! I think the plan is to try and sell to shareholders that ''we've got a plan B and it's amazing, don't listen to their fan ownership nonsense, we know what we're doing''. I'd suggest to anyone that gets some communication from the club regarding the EGM, asks what this Plan B is - or would this require another EGM, to vote if they need to reveal their plans or not?

And another thing, how come as a shareholder I find out from the Worcester News that the EGM has been accepted. It would have been professional to be informed by the Board first or is this how they now communicate with shareholders, as with the infamous Plan B disclosed only to the media by Colin Leyland.
