Good to hear he's supporting the move home. A shame he seems to have forgotten his role in our exile.

Please forgive my uninformed self, as I've admitted before, back when SGL was sold I was perhaps too young, and certainly to naive to question things, but what exactly was Prescotts involvement in it all? I cannot really recall him at City beyond ''he was a director''.

Ok thesecondjack, here's how I see it. Which may or may not be more objective to some other posts ! Jon was a director of WCFC Ltd at the time of the sale of St Georges Lane, one of (I think, 8 or 9 with a vote). I'm not sure if it was ever publicised which directors voted for or against the sale. Jon was also an employee of the social club. Which was an independent company to WCFC Ltd & I am not sure if this was allowed to be a loss making company, but the accounts seemed to indicate that it was. This guy did, regardless of what some people will say put a great deal of time into both rolls, perhaps not enough considering he was a paid employee of one. BUT, surely that was down to his employers if they thought there was anymore that should have been done. He came to WCFC at the recommendation of one of his business colleagues quite some time before the social club job & I personally know that, that position was at his personal loss at the time in terms of salary. It is very easy to 'point the finger' at any individual, but not always the right thing to do. My advice to you would be to introduce yourself to the man & ask him some direct questions. I do know that you will receive honest answers & a warm welcome from him.

So, the bar at bromsgrove next year won't be open on matchdays so I'm informed. We will gage to get our own staff in to run it and will not get any profits, seems a bit rubbish to me!
