This particular worcester news article & it's findings has I feel took the whole thing to another level now & if the council weren't listening before they surely have to now,I'd personally like to thank the WN & it's reporting of late in helping to move things forward one way or another & well done to all individuals involved that have helped get it to this point, how a certain council leader can paint a completely different picture in terms of public opinion on the application I don't know, how stupid does he look on these results

Fingers crossed Mr Bayliss doesn't have selective hearing.

He's just responded to me on Twitter. Definitely selective hearing with that one.

It could all depend on back room deals with builders and developers ~ sounds familiar?

Today's Number - 10
It has now been 10 months since the initial letter I wrote to the Worcester News asking for answers to some important questions about Perdiswell from Councillor Gareth Jones and the Chair of the "Protect Perdiswell Park" Group of Anti-Stadium/Sporting Hub Protesters.
I am still awaiting a reply from either of them on this subject.
The cynical amongst us might make the assumption that now Cllr Jones is safely back in the Ivory Towers of the Guildhall for another couple of years that he considers himself beneath answering questions from the Citizens of this City on something that would affect them ALL - and not just a small number of noise makers around a couple of housing estates...

It's probably true to say that there is only one person that Cllr Jones is interested in...........and the name isn't Smith!

From the news this morning - I fully expect PPP to drop everything to go over there now to help move the group of travellers on and make sure they don't cause any damage to a field which resembles the Somme in Winter - after all - they bang on about how they want to "Protect Perdiswell Park". If they don't bother to do or say anything then some might say it's a bit hypocritical of them cherry picking their "fights" as it were...

PPP only want to protect the field from the football stadium and their supporters, they are not concerned about anything else, anyway it is not close enough to their houses to bother getting involved.

I'm waiting for them to complain about the mess the travellers leave... much like most complain about the dog mess left behind.

Someone just made a point on the Facebooks that didn't strike me before...
How can the Council possibly be pursuing the restoration of the old pitches (and the associated stuff on the bits of land in question) when they know full well there's a pending planning application?
Seems a bit dodgy to me - something doesn't quite add up...
Some other views would be welcome

Presumably it shows the council's commitment to bringing football back to Perdiswell?
