My old man fancies going tonight, so I'll probably tag along with him - at short notice and with the confusion over dates, I do feel like we'll be the only ones there mind!! Is anyone else going?
I'm half hoping it's going to be a mixture of first team and youth, see how the kids work with the first team. Hughes needs game time, as does Thommo imo.
To ask a silly question, as I have no clue, is Tyler allowed to play, seeing as it's just a friendly? I doubt he would play anyway, as it'd be rather fruitless.

I see from their site that City won 1-0 - anybody know who scored? Nothing up on the WCFC.

this was quite an interesting game in many ways, first bit of friendly banter with opposition supporters, the Ref was pretty good would like him to take charge of a few of our games, the lino on the stand side was quite funny at times especially when challenged by players. now for the team, it was difficult to work out who we had in the team as no program & no announcement so we had players who i did not know, found out at the end some were invited to play for us from other teams, great to see Marius play & especially when he scored, seems like a great addition, some of the others i think would fit in very well with our squad. great night but very cold & would love to see a few more supporters turn up & think it would be a great team to play friendlies in season warm up. hope the winning form keeps going. onwards & upwards

It wasn't a bad game, but nothing to sing home about. Ologu was my pick of the players, not because of the goal, but because he was happy to run, run and run some more. The end product might not fully be there, but if you put the effort in, and move yourself about, you can be a good asset for a team.
First half Vaughan too the armband, as Jacko was on the bench (played about 15 minutes) and Thommo wasn't there (or at least I didn't see him). Clayton McDonald played 90 minutes, I believe he took the armband off Vaughan at half time. He looks like he has lost a bit of weight since we last saw him play, but he was still caught out a couple of times with how slow he turns.

Ologu definitely looked bright. Much similar to Geddes, just, a better attitude, it seemed. Willing to run and run and run. Good goal too.
Danny Jackman was sent on as a sub with a XXXXL shirt. It's looked ridiculous!

trying to make Jacko look bigger, they just forgot the padding... agree with your bit on Ologu, think he will be an asset to the team just needs a little bit of time & wish we could have a few friendlies to get him gelling with the team & also see more of the likes of those from other teams makes good scouting for the managers to see how people could fit in...
