City have reduced ticket prices and enabled tickets to be bought at Worcester TI and Ronkswood Post Office. £10 Adults £5 Concessions £1 under 16's Not a bad idea imo, FCUoM have a strong away following, and the atmosphere could be really strong if we get a good turnout ourselves! I've been thinking this game should be 1,000 - 1,200, but with dropped prices, hopefully it'll be even more than that! www.worcestercityfc.com/news/support-your-club-on-5th-march-v-fc-united-of-manchester-1564071.html

If it's segregated, it would be nice to see the opposite stand with supporters in it.

Although a season ticket holder, I can't make every home game and knew this would be the case pre-season. In theory WCFC get more of my bucks than they would do if I paid on entry.
I should be able to make the FCUM game but would be quite prepared to forego my ticket entry and pay a tenner on the gate. This will add an additional contribution (albeit small) to the City coffers.
Maybe other ST holders might consider doing likewise?

This is a great move by Worcester City fc and Worcester City fc supporters trust to make the game against FC United of Manchester a community event by attempting to get a big crowd by reducing the admission prices. FC United of Manchester is a fan owned club which operates as a community operative and its a model Worcester City Fc should be following. This game should give the club a good platform to get its message across to " Bring the club back to the city of Worcester", with a big crowd and plenty of banners to put the pressure on the Worcester City Council. I am hoping the sporting public of Worcester will come out and support the club in this community event, as a season ticket holder I will also be paying on the gate for this game. I hope the football club will invite all the local youth football clubs and local schools in Worcester to bring the next generation of football supporters to Aggborough to experience live football watching their local football club.

Good idea to invite youth clubs and schools, maybe inviting local politicians too - nothing better than a good game to convince someone that the club is a bit of alright. I must say I'm shocked by the ''I'm a season ticket holder but might pay on the day anyway'' attitude, and applaud it! I was half expecting a ''well that's devalued my season ticket by £3'' response! Fair play to you both! I cannot applaud the club and ST enough for the price reduction myself - and FCUoM fans seem to like the decision too, as one said on twitter, ''A big thank you - we will have to drink more beer to make up the shortfall!'' I am curious about if it will be segregated or not, a strong away following and antics of a select few in our crowd would imply that it will be, but the FC lot seem lovely, and I'm sure a fair few of us would want to mingle. Any hints, Verner?

Any hints, Verner? If it was segregated for (the small amount of) Scunthorpe fans, it'll deffo be segregated for United. Shame though. I loved the Lane for a derby day, when we played Cheltenham, Gloucester, Halesowen etc & - everyone was together.

It wasn't segregated when we went up there, so it'd be a shame for it to be segregated down here with no history between the clubs.

Shame about segregation, but understandable. The difference between the two games miserablesod, is that we took *some* fans, they usually take *many* fans.
I'll send you a PM creaner, can count my dad and myself in!

Good to see the tickets on sale online from today, they look pretty decent on the picture on Facebook. Seeing them has prompted a question for me.
Why don't we give out tickets or 'stubs' at the turnstiles for normal games? I know a fair few of the other teams in our league do so, I suspect it's low cost, with potential reward. Be it a 'free' bit of memorabilia for the little ones to look at and decide on the spot ''i'm a City supporter now!'' or that a supporter keeps it in their pocket and incidentally pulls it out in front of a friend, it could get them talking about city, and maybe convince them to come to a game too.
Thoughts?

Interesting thought. I was rummaging about yesterday looking for my sun glasses (I haven't flipped yet - off to Cyprus for a week) when I came across a box which contained lots of old bits and pieces including old football programmes and tickets - the memories (happy ones) came flooding back. Anything that helps promote the club be it a ticket stub, fixtures card etc.. is good in my view (hopefully low cost).
Back to the packing....

Hoping to have lots of stuff going on that day as well, watch this space. We will need volunteers to help so don't be shy! PM me if you would like to get involved Lots of great publicity around this game now, should ensure we get a great turnout and lots of news coverage. Thanks to those who have said they can help on the day we need more volunteers to maximise what we get out of the day. Whether it's selling programmes or 50/50 draw tickets, carrying a few buckets for a collection or just arriving a bit earlier on match day to help out please can you help? Drop me a PM, with name and contact email, and I'll be in touch.
