As has now become tradition I am only going to play music from the past year at the Gloucester game, no old stuff. So if anyone has any favourites please post them on here and I will endevour to include as many as I can on the playlist.
Thanks
Niels

Niels, some of your choices of music surprise me but are without doubt amusing & I would never criticise your choices because you ( & Jane ) do a great job. This year hasn't been a good year for new records in my opinion so these suggestions I've got for you to consider may be as surprising to you as yours are occasionally to me. Hello... Adelle. Writing on the wall... Sam Smith. And because it seems quite apt for the lads, Heros... Alesa

I'm not really one to keep up to date with music, but here's a few suggestions
X Ambassadors - Renegades Robin Schulz - Sugar LunchMoney Lewis - Bills It's interesting to listen to others choices in music, even if I cannot stand most of it Just please not that 'Cheerleader' song.

just as a one off can we please have Time is Tight Booker T & the MG's when the team comes out as this was their tune in the St Georges Lane days & it might be a good luck charm thing.. I know its not from this year but there can be exceptions...

" Time is Tight " has to be saved for the return to playing in Worcester - no exceptions ! Othet than that, play what you like.

What about Taylor Swift's Blank Space with perhaps a reference to a club AGM or Perdiswell Park

Did Vaughan Williams issue any new tracks this year? No I don't think so but I reckon I heard a Gangsta Rap remix of Five Variants of Dives and Lazarus by Ghostface Killah last week, so it may qualify.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I have used as many as possible. However please note two things. 1) Some of the suggestions weren't from 2015 so won't feature. 2) There is 1 hour 30 minutes of music to be played and the choices are spread over this time, so your choice may not be played at prime time (eg 15 mins before game and half time).

I have to say reading this thread makes me realise how old and out of touch on music I am! It was unclear to me on many posts which was which - the song and the artist! At least I know who Vaughan Williams was!

I don't think I heard any of my suggestions, but the music played wasn't THAT bad. Ref didn't seem to like it carrying on at half time mind. Also, credit to the newbie in the PA box, spoke well and clearly, but it's Deon, not Dean Burton.

Lunchmoney Lewis was played at half time, in the usual oldies slot, and X Ambassadors would have been played in the event of a draw. And yes Helen did well, especially as it was her first time and most of the stuff was sprung on her.

Niels music was good, great to see you & Jane (yes correct spelling) because i checked with her on this, & it was also lovely to see that you have another person to lighten the load up there, Helen was very clear, maybe a little nervous but its a big thing to do & as before those who criticise have not stepped up to be counted... keep up the great work all 3 of you now...

I know it's way past New Years Day now Niels but is there any chance that at the next home game you could play something by the Eagles to remrmber Glen Frey who sadly passed away yesterday? Personally his death has hit me harder than the death of Bowie

I always try to play something by someone who has passed away. It has been a bit difficult this season because of the scaresity of home games. Last Saturday's playlist had quite a few who died recently. David Bowie, Motorhead (Lemmy and Phil Taylor), Easybeats (Stevie Wright), Specials (John Bradbury), Three Dog Night (Cory Wells), Delta 5 (Kelvin Knight), Peter Broggs Reggae singer, Stone Temple Pilots (Scott Weiland) and Natalie Cole. So that performance from the team was probably my fault.

Niels these were not the problem, if that was the case from previous games some of the tunes you play(said loosely) our game would have been worse... Kidding but you cannot blame your music for the teams performance, just play hi ho silver lining, oops up side your head or Aggadoo on a 12" version and that might get them going...
