Losing 1-0 at half time, their goal was easy, defence has been poor, midfield have been busy but cannot string any passes together, and when we do get the ball I their box, there is nobody to receive it. Possibly the worst half of football we have played this season.

Two minutes into second half, 2-0. Defence is shocking

Worst game of the season. Team haven't turned up, ref is terrible and both teams more focused on fouls and fighting.

Absolutely shocking today, for me, no shape to the team, disorganised. Tamworth didn't look great either. Lots of fans up there today and very disappointed. Hughes has to start and also geddes, left it far to late to make subs, come on Carl and Matt, not good enough today sorry, 4 massive league games coming up starting the 19th. UTC

I half expected us to lose, but not that badly.
Never been a happy hunting ground for us.

Tamworth were poor but City were shocking, agree posibly with Hughes starting but what did Geddes do when he came on, & why would you have swapped Deeney Jackman & Nelson Eddy from last week, & the way discipline was today Sean would have been sent off again, when will they learn to stop this stupidity...

I don't agree that the "team didn't turn up". I thought we had the better of it against the wind in the first half and we certainly looked the more likely to score until we gave away a stupid goal. I fancied our chances at half time but Tamworth's second from a corner 2 mins after the break was a killer. But still no-one gave up and I thought there was plenty of effort through to the end. Tamworth were very physical and tried to bully us which is why I don't mind our lads standing up to them and giving a bit back. Ref was awfully weak and he almost let it get out of control. Stupid tackle by Tyler to give away a penalty and get himself sent off. We may as well just field ten men and save on the appearance money.
I thought Hughes should have started. I appreciate Dion Burton's skills and link up play but this was a game where we needed someone to pester, nag and bite their defence and Hughes is the master at that type of game. Curiously we seemed to create far more chances once Hughes came on and we were down to 10 men. Overall I thought disappointing to lose but no one else has come away from the Lamb with a win this season and I guess not many, if any, will. I think much of the criticism above is unfair and written out of disappointment at us losing.

What planet is thatloudmouth on.weir got sent off but says geddes would have been sent off? .we created more in the last 25 mins. You should have gone to Wales....oh...and do us all a favour and stay there. 1 defeat in the last four is hardly the end of the world..like stamoo said,no one else has gone there and won.

Now now, no need to get mean. We're all surely entitled to our opinions.
I don't think Geddes did much when he came on, but then he was sitting deeper then usual, and the game was pretty much dead before he'd come on, so I don't blame him for that. I can understand the thought that if he started he would have got sent off, but it is just a thought as we'll never know!
Hughes did well off the bench, but did screw up a rather easy goal. It would have been harder to miss! Tamworth are a hard team to beat, everyone knows that, but it really was a poor performance from the team, and let a strong away following down imo.

Sorry for the frequent posts, but just had a thought:
Where is Shaun Harrad? I think radio said he was at a wedding last Saturday, and he wasn't in the squad today... have we seen the last of him at our club? Might be a victim of having too many strikers in the squad.

2 mistakes put us 2 down. I thought the penalty decision was harsh on Tyler. The player threw himself to the ground
2nd half we had countless chances. Missed them all. That was the only difference.
3 out of 4 is good though. Roll on next week!
Worcsbaggie - you sure you ain't Sean Geddes...?!

Looking at the highlights Tyler's challenge isn't a penalty for me. The Tamworth player has "won" that one.

I agree, the Tamworth player went down easy, it looked worse on Tylers part from the other side of the ground! Never been a fan of ends.

As someone who was at the game I was not expecting an apology as supporting a football club will see good and bad performances. Have to say it is difficult to get anything from a game if the opposition keeper does not have to make a save, particularly when their first goal went through Nathan's legs. His point about a battle was spot on as it always is at Tamworth as well as a battle with the weather conditions. Tamworth did the simple things and at times the ugly things better than City because our squad is focused on footballers rather than the non league equivalents of Savage,Cattermole,Barton. Bellamy et al.

Should he have to say sorry on behalf of the team? No Am I grateful of him for doing so? Yes
Nathan seems to do more interviews then any other player, including the captain, which I think is commendable. They cannot be nice to do, but us fans like them.
