Not at the game, but listening to the match here: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/347626445 minutes in, Sharpe gave a penalty away, gets a straight red for it... Ethan Ross in goal saves it! It'll be interesting to see how Wayne Thomas gets on in central defence on his own now, a pacey player should beat him. Also worthy to note Dean Waldron is starting today.

Both teams now down to 10 men after a tackle on Waldron - who is being stretchered off, and Tyler coming on. Damn hard game by the sounds of it.

Half time and 0-0, Stalybridge apparently the more likely to score. A draw doesn't get us out of the danger zone, but I don't think it'd be a bad result considering.

I was listening to BBC Hereford & Worcester and Carl Heeley sounded very angry with the poor defending , three free headers in the six box, sounded like he was having a dig at a experienced defender. Another sending off after five minutes, Tom Sharpe conceded the penalty and got red carded, the penalty was saved by Ethan Ross. Carl Heeley stated that Nathan Vaughan turned his ankle in training and said he wasn't fit to play on the day, which is why Ethan Ross started today. It sounds like a very poor performance and could of been beaten by more, Dean Waldron got carried off and left the ground on crutches, Carl confirmed Deans leg wasn't broken , but badly bruised. Worcester still bottom of the table and need points to climb away from the relegation zone and have a tough home game on Tuesday night against Boston United.

Six yard box, not six box.

Well, I'm glad I decided to go and see the Christmas lights get turned on in town after the first half!! Conceding three in a half isn't acceptable, nor is getting sent off 5 minutes into a match. We have more than enough quality in the team to get us out of it, we should be looking at 8th-10th, not 22nd.

Defensively we were very poor today with all 3 goals coming from set pieces with the 3 rd possibly being the softest. Having said that at 1 nil we forced their keeper into a number of fine saves . I thought Danny Jackman was the pick of our players with Ross also playing well though at fault with the 2nd goal, all in all a day to forget

Seems like some of the players just didn't turn up at Stalybridge .... Nor did 95% of those WCFC supporters who were at Sheffield the previous week.

Exactly, a very poor turn out from the Fairhful. Making no excuses for the players but that is hardly going to inspire a good performance.
As for the red card Tom Sharpe was very unfortunate to be on the receiving end, yes it was a red card but was caused by another player.

Unfortunately the illness that prevented me going to Sheffield has taken longer to clear up than I had hoped so missed this one too.Didn't go to Harrogate and probably won't get off work in time for the Boston game. I will soon be being classed as one of those "part timers!!"
