Well, the big day is nearing and we've all been buzzing about this tie for a couple of weeks.. One of their main fans forums has been paying attention to us and some of their goodly fans have an idea about doing a fan loop feedback between the two forums which i think sounds a really good craic!! Here's one of the threads they've been talking about us on to kick it off with... www.s24su.com/forum/index.php?threads/pre-match-view-from-worcester.42869/

A few of them saying they should put out their usual starting 11 is impressive.
We really are terrible at the moment, there's not one goal in our entire team and we could leak goals against an under 5's team. They should put out their kids, not one player over 18... Honest. *cough*

I like this idea;
United should get together with Worcester and give the fan who was here in 1959 the VIP treatment. #8 FATTYFOULKE, Yesterday at 3:49 PM
It would be nice to have one Blade's fan & one City fan, who were at the Lane back then, on the pitch before the game giving their memories of their respective teams from that day.

I was at the 1959 game, but then so was Mike Davis who is a City director.

Perhaps they'll invite a crowd of you onto the pitch.... Great PR for both clubs

That would be nice. I imagine there's a fair few who saw the 1959 game that will still be about, I know my Granddad was there and will be there on Saturday! If I recall, he's 84 now so doing well!

Perhaps they'll invite a crowd of you onto the pitch.... Great PR for both clubs .......and a missed opportunity for the telly..........they seem to like that nostalgic sort of thing Dodger.

Last year we were being called a 'tinpot club' on the Coventry and Scunny forums as i recall, so where does 'pub team' fit on the sliding scale of things hmm? Pub teams still have their own changing rooms and pitch so maybe they're still being very charitable in their estimations of us!

like the odds, thinking of putting a few quid for city to WIN... & it will be interesting of what that SUFC fan thinks of the supposed pub team WCFC at final whistle.. we are all proud of what the team do every week through thick & thin...

Totally proud.. When we won at Gateshead and all the players came over to celebrate with us it was pretty emotional..if we can raise our game another notch up from that tomorrow then Sheffield United could be in for a shock!

I hear Sheffield's some way "up north". Is it even further than Fernhill Heath?
