People said we were wrong to let him go, but sadly at our level some players can peak in their mid 20's, Symmo is one of them imo.
Best of luck to Mike in the future, although I was of course hoping he'd score 3 at most this season for Gloucester, he is a favourite of mine, and hope he continues being the big man up front for another team.

^Someone on their forum already suggested it. Kiddy are crying out for an experienced outfield player, but Symmo is not it. Need a Thommo figure if you ask me.
There's been rumour i've heard a few times now that Lee Hughes could go to them as player/coach, and Jacko as a player, but nothing seemed to come from either. I think they might just be desperate for a player who has been in that league before this season though.

About his level to have a good impact, not sure why they have signed him though, from what I've heard scoring goals isn't much of an issue for them!

Wish him the best of luck. I'm sure he'll do well for them.
If he's played in the FA Cup for Gloucester does that mean he'll be cup-tied for the FA Vase with Hereford?

Wouldn't have thought so. Seperate unrelated competitions surely.
He should do well at Hereford. Wish him all the best.

Just scored a hat-trick on his home debut tonight vs Stourport. Fair play to the big man!

Well done to the bloke! He's still got a few years left in him at lower levels, he could lead their line for a couple of seasons while they climb the pyramid.

Could he have done us a job at Sheffield Utd does anyone reckon? Just the basic big man hold the ball up with his back to goal allowing the nippier players to come in from deep and pose a threat that way.. I think Deon Burton mightve got a bit more change out of them that way as well.

Who would you have him play instead of? You needed Nti and Vincent to give the width, needed Deeney, Gater, Jackman central to hold back their players.

Hmm fair point as it wouldve been a tricky selection, but then if Geddes and Hughes were available it wouldve been even trickier! But the extra options wouldve been better. If Symmo had been there..then i wouldve gone 4-4-1-1 with him up top and Burton tucked in behind, probably at the expense of Gater with Nti and Vincent down the flanks, Deeney and Jackman keeping it solid in the middle.
