All, I have been doing some off-grid work in connection with a couple of things - including a positive meeting with some major minds in the history of the Trust.
As such, I'm now moving on to looking at launching a plan which if it comes off, would be interesting for the future going forward.
So - I'm organising a small informal information meeting in the large function side room at The Paul Pry (on The Butts) this Friday from 7:30pm onwards - in the very building in which this great club was formed back in the early 1900s.
I do not wish to say much more publicly at the moment - but if you are interested in getting involved with what myself and others have planned - then by all means PM me here and I'd be willing to fill you in on basic details.

Croc, you'll need to publicize this to the max and give more information - getting people out on a cold evening to meet for something vaguish will be difficult. Best of luck though, and if I were in Worcester I'd be there. Let us know how it goes.

Cheers Archie, I've had some interest and enquiries back so far both on here and Facebook.
I'll unveil everything on Friday night/Saturday morning (as the feedback I've had has been 100% positive from all angles) - but I want to try to keep things under wraps until I've formulated actuals and clarified items on Friday afternoon.

Please don't take this as any sort of criticism croc, because you obviously have ( & have had for many years) the club at heart. But this sounds so secretive that some people may think it devisive, would it not be better to put out a lot more info sooner rather than later ? Whatever it is, I'm sure as I've said before will be for the good of the club. So I wish you all the best with it. Regards Jim

OK - I can now divulge information concerning tonight...
Basically we have the two major events coming up soon in the Elections.
Subject to fundraising (£500 is required minimum) - then I will be standing in the General Election as an Independent on the ticket of bringing the club home and the provisioning of the Sports Hub at Perdiswell - to explain things clearer and to help dispel myths and untruths from other factions. I'm also hopefully going to stand in the St Stephens Ward in the City Elections.
It won't be all about the stadium - but about all sports who have expressed an interest in pooling themselves up there.
From who I've spoken to at the moment - they have been very intrigued and supportive of the idea.
Basically - any volunteers who can help or would also like to stand in other parts of the City would be great.
I'm not expecting great things - but if it gets people talking about the plans in the wider arena - then the job is done.

Good luck with that Croc, you will have my vote in the general election and if I can help with any canvassing will do that.

I'd fully support you standing for councillor, even though I personally know Neil Laurenson (i'm pretty sure that's his ward), I understand the local Greens are very sceptical about the idea of the Perdiswell project.
The idea of standing for parliament however seems a little counter intuitive, when looking from the perspective of WCFC alone. I think you'd be hard pressed to look beyond the two ''main'' parties to be the favourites to win the election in Worcester, both Lab/Con pointing it out as a key seat to take/hold onto. Labours candidate is Joy Squires who is frequently in the match programme, and quite often turns up to watch a game, surely a supporter of the club being back where we belong. If you were to stand for parliament you'd possibly risk splitting WCFC fan votes between you, and end up no better off because of it.

Well, well, well croc. Bloody good luck to you. Again, no negatives intended. The chances of you becoming an independent MP with this agenda are unbelievably low, on saying that Doctor ? was elected with his fight for the Kidderminster hospital cause. BUT on saying that, it will be a great publicity stunt for WCFC & lower league football in general. It may just make the powers that be take notice. I personally don't think its a possibility to be both MP & local councillor, but what a great double whammy for exposure !! As I said bloody good luck, I'm sure that there will be more than myself & that FGR supporter backing you.

Most City fans don't read this general board. I agree with the above post. Joy supports bringing the boys back home to Perdi - if Croc is (somehow) successful he's just going to take those votes away. I'm sure croc has best intentions, but I think he will get very few votes (because don't forget that some of his would-be voters are not able to vote for him because they are outside of his area). It may even be detrimental to the cause. Few votes may give the impression that the Perdi move is not well supported. Anyone is free to stand - but I think this is a really bad idea.

Sorry to disagree cloud. Any exposure is good for us& croc making waves can do us no harm at all. If Joy has been trying to get us to Perdiswell, she has not succeeded yet, so perhaps between them we'll see a better result. I don't live in that ward so know very little about her or her agenda, but I'm sure she'll be happy to have someone else fighting the same cause. Go for it croc & bloody good luck !!
