Weather forecast (BBC web site) has rain predicted this Thursday, Friday, and around 12 noon on Saturday.
Another potential postponement?

They had a fair amount of rain at the same time last week....yet their match stayed on.
So you would think we should be OK.....but this is Soddenborough or Frozenborough and you never really know

This weekends game vs Stockport County is to be segregated. City fans have the main stand and north stand.
Stockport will have Section N of the East Stand, and 1 half of the South Stand.
City fans to enter via the usual turnstiles.
There is no access to the Aggborough Suite or Harriers Arms for Stockport fans. Stockport fans however are able to use the KHFC Supporters Club at the rear of the East Stand.

Of course KHFC had the advantage of playing last Saturday against Woking because City's game had been 'called off the week before.........so there was no churning of the pitch before the rain. Let's hope the KH groundsman has done his bit in getting the pitch prepared following that Woking game. Dodger.

Some of the comments posted on the SC forum would indicate that County aren't playing particularly well at the moment and, coupled with their 2-0 defeat at Bradford PA last night, City might be in with a chance of winning.............or, it could be a dour 0-0.

I usually use the Laugherne Brook as an indicator of how much rain has fallen, and this morning it was well up and a horrid brown colour, so I am a tad worried about the pitch being playable tomorrow.

Shab deservedly sent off for slamming a Stockport player

About the only thing the ref got right! Mind you a blind man with his eyes shut would have spotted that one. Again the opposing forwards go lunging in on the defenders, Shabir being the victim on several occasions. Shame about his reaction as it is the only thing that spoiled the day. Why was Thomas booked? From where I was sat he was flattened and the County player rightly booked. As for the returning Glover, aside from winding up his ex team mates, largely inconspicuous.
On to football matters. We know what to expect from the experienced players but for me I thought Waldron, who played the whole game, did not look out of place in midfield.
The second City goal was an excellent move started from the left hand side of our penalty area. Ball played across the area to the right back (not normally recommended) 2 passes down the right touchline, a cross into the middle and fished off by Geddes. County were down to 10 at this point, but it should not detract from the move. Quality.

To be so dominant and only win 2-0 was the only disappointment for me - it should have been many more. However, a most pleasing performance, apart from the mayhem at the end, against an uncompromisingly physical Stockport side. The referee should have clamped down much earlier.
Nice to see Symmo score and as "simples" says above a wonderful move for the second goal.
As for the mayhem I think there was a touch of "afters" in there: Shab had not long before been the subject of a very dodgy tackle which, quite rightly, saw their man sent off. Stockport's No 8 (who committed the very bad foul which sparked off the mayhem - why didn't he get red carded also?) seemed to be intent on exacting some sort of revenge for the sending off. Shabir then once again allowed the red mist to descend (that's three times I've seen him sent off); his overhead lift and slamming the player into the turf wouldn't have been out of place in the wrestling ring. Jackie Pallo or Big Daddy would have been proud of that. A minimum three match ban I think, which is a pity, as he'd had an excellent game up to that point.
All in all though there were performances all over the park today: Dean Waldron, whom I've only seen briefly before, acquitted himself very well for a young 'un. Man of the match for me would have to be Ellis Deeney, who was involved in everything. We will be very lucky to hang on to him for next season.

Shab was out of order of course but he's had so many career threatening injuries I can understand why he saw the red mist again. Another incident this season the like of which I've never seen before. Maybe the video will get as many hits as the Rabona? It's on you YouTube already.

Media reports (which are always right) suggest 2 yellow cards for Shab which would make sense as he and their nunber 8 were shown yellow for the fracas. After all it was just a strong push no punch thrown or head butt which is a red.

No it was a straight red. To be fair both players should have been sent off. Initial foul was dangerous.

Referee was appalling as usual fior him!!
Several Stockport 1st half challenges went unpunished!! Though wrong their 8 got exactly what he deserved.

A good overall display with a welcome three points against a disappointing physical Stockport side. A well taken first half goal by the hard working Mike Symonds, the second goal was a excellent move started by the impressive Dean Waldron and finished with a strike by Sean Geddes. If the referee had clamped down earlier on Stockport rash challenges, it may have avoided the ugly scenes at the end of the game, with Shab Khan getting sent off after being taken out by a dreadful challenge. Shabir Khan has had his fair share of career threatening injuries over the years, and this challenge could of been another, he needs to control his " red mist" moments which I believe is his third sending off, and will be hit with a three match ban. It was no surprise to see the woeful Danny Glover getting in the face of Shabir Khan as he walking off the pitch, a player who did little for Worcester city in the first season at Aggborough. Another tough game on Tuesday night against Solihull Moors, a chance to keep this run going and see where this takes us in the league.

Both Khan and their player should have been sent off, both were unacceptable. Putting the negatives aside, we scored 2 and kept a clean sheet, so in all it was a pretty good result. It's nice to see Symmo is slowly getting back into form, he really is being a key player in our offence, we look lost when he is rested.
On a rather unrelated note, what's happened to the 'ir' from 'Shabir'? Everyone just uses Shab now, which is fine, but when it's on Team sheets and so on it throws me!

Obviously unacceptable from Khan and he will get a ban quite rightly and possibly a long one. Although to be fair I understand why he did. Maybe their lad will think harder next time before launching into such a Kung Fu tackle, which I've seen it mentioned somewhere might have been retribution as Shab was involved in their sending off? Lesson learnt I think.
Oh, and how was he not sent off?!

Oh, and how was he not sent off?! Steve Exactly, and if you see the video footage you will see their #2 grab Shab round the neck and throw him down. By then it could have escalated further.

A very good commentary from the Stockport point of view albeit with differing views, I'm sure, from the City fans regarding Stockport's physicality. hedgegrower.blogspot.co.uk/Dodger

A few years ago, when we were still at the Lane and Nic Lee was on the PA team, I was calling him Shabir and Nic was calling him Shab, leaving Jane unsure of what to call him. So as his family sat just by us we asked them, and it turned out that he prefers Shab, so that is what we call him.

I take that as a compliment. Pity more county fans couldn't make it. Apparently they used to be quite a big club.

Maybe we could get some 'Cardboard Ultra' club ties made so we can wear at each game - lol
Seems to me though, that Stockport's intent was to unsettle our free flowing football because of their poor away performances and were desperate for a positive 0-0 result. If it hadn't been for their keeper, we could have had 4 or 5.
