WORCESTER City left-back Connor Gudger has signed for Vanarama Conference North rivals Leamington after rarely featuring for the Aggborough tenants. The summer signing from Barwell only started in the league for City in a 4-0 defeat at title-chasing Fylde and was otherwise restricted to substitute appearances. Gudger, 22, was on the books at Coventry City before spending three seasons with Tamworth. Leamington boss Paul Holleran has signed him to replace former skipper Stephan Morley, who left for Corby Town

Vanarama Conference North club Gloucester City.... .....have announced the signing of Ross Staley from Evo-Stik League Southern Division One South & West side Yate Town. The 20-year-old is adept on the left or right of both defence and midfield and has a knack of scoring goals. He is a product of the Bristol Rovers youth system, spending four years at the Memorial Stadium, including years as a professional. He has been watched regularly by the Tigers over the last few months and have been impressed by the youngster. Staley has been ever-present for Yate this season, including a memorable hat-trick against his former club in the Gloucestershire Senior Cup, and will go straight into the Tigers squad for tomorrow’s derby fixture at Worcester City.

No problem with players leaving if they're not good enough or move up the leagues for fees. What's annoying is the lack of new signings or the time taken to finally sign a replacement.
We're not able to pay fees for players so any new signings are generally free transfers of non contracted players. Surely the club should be thinking ahead and have an idea of who they want to replace Williams, Hutchison, Geddes, Deeney etc if/when they leave?
