No goals in the last four games is a major worry, not even a shot on target today is an even bigger worry.thats two games on the trot and not one clear cut chance to talk about. once again too many free kicks given away, we don't learn.and how has thommo stopped on the pitch again.we seem more intent on trying to upset opposition and referees rather than trying to play football. we got out of jail today.how has it changed within three weeks??

Not a game that will live long in the memory. With George now ancient history and no Tyler Weir (presume he was unfit) we had no width or presence down either flank. Mystified as to why Symo didn't start ,without him we had nothing up front. Hednesford' s centre backs and keeper couldn't have been more comfortable had they spent the afternoon lying on their respective sofas at home. Nti and Tristan as the two front runners are hardly a heavy weight presence and were unable to use their pace. It wasn't until Symo came on that we won a few headers and we started to look like we might pose a threat. Danny Nti is a mystery to me, he is clearly skilful and fast, he tries hard, and he can nick a goal every so often, but time and again he will beat a man and lose the ball, there is no end product, and when he gets the ball he always seems to be in the wrong place, too deep and Hardly ever in space and on the odd occasion he is in space he runs into traffic and gets tackled. Today we looked an ordinary team. As we have seen over many months we can be so much better. I thought Elllis did well in midfield again and to be fair we are difficult to break down, Jacob Rowe was excellent and we coped reasonably well with what Hednesford could throw at us, Jose Veiga made a cracking save low down to his left. The thing that kept the Worcester faithful entertained during the second half was the Hednesford keeper's rather luxuriant coiffure which attracted the chants of 'hairdo!' every time he touched the ball. To be fair he took it in really good spirit and even played up to it by stroking his bouffant, good fun, after all there was precious little else to keep us entertained! All in all a valuable point gained in a game we didn't deserve to win. Let's hope for one of our better performances against Guisley and a 3 point springboard up towards those play off places.

The great run was always going to end - and often that heralds a tricky spell - for any club. The heavier pitches and the loss of Williams haven't helped.
We just have to dig in and weather the bad spell - and after Guiseley on Sunday we have 6 out of 7 games that are very winnable. Fylde being the exception
Incidentally - while excited at the prospect of squeezing into the play offs, am I alone in being unexcited about the (very slight) chance of getting promoted to the conference premier??!

A very tough match in difficult conditions. We lacked quality in the final third yesterday, but to their credit if you can't win it, don't get beat, and it was a very good point in the end. On what must be the biggest pitch in the League ( ? ), I thought that our fitness was excellent, especially after our hectic schedule lately. I thought that Ellis Deeney and Jacob Rowe were very good again. If we are seen by others as the team to beat, then isn't that a good sign of how much we have improved, and how well we have been playing ?

Worcbaggie, your anger appears to directed at tommo who in my opinion, has Been a major influence in the heady heights we have reached this year. His style of football may not be to your liking at times but it is effective and style of play you may see at west brom games once Tony Pulis has become established.. We ground out a horrible draw not pretty. But better than being 0-3 down!! The departure of one excellent player should not spell the demise of this team ..they have proved that others can step up to the plate and kick on. I think we will get over this bump and get into the play offs.

My objection to Thommo is not for his playing ability, but his mouth! He has got involved too often when the dispute is nothing to do with him. (If you remember Coventry he was up there telling the referee to send the goalie off when he was yards and yards away from the incident.
End result? Another card, and at the rate he's picking 'em up he'll shortly be due for another suspension.

Wow! Do you mean to shout so loud??? I'm sorry if I have upset your wife or do you post under another name as I was responding to worcbaggie comments! Not sure if you have ever played football above this level but it happens in league matches all the time and some managers actively encourage their players to challenge decisions and with tommo its part of the package.

I wouldn't want Thommo any other way. You need a mouth in the team to strike a bit of fear in to the ref. Yes, it's not pretty, but there is a reason he does it.

I'm not angry just making points of what's been happening over the last two games.he has been brilliant previous to the last two games and one of my favourite players, but all he is going to achieve going forward is a ban and that makes worcester a weaker team.
