I don't have a full record but here's a list of abandoned matches from the last few years. If I've missed any please say so!
6 March 2012 - Stourbridge away (WSC) - floodlights failed, abandoned after 2 minutes
12 January 2008 - Nuneaton away - floodlights failed, abandoned after 81 minutes with City losing 2-0
5 August 2006 - Kidderminster Harriers home (friendly) - the infamous occasion when Mark Yates took his players off the pitch after 71 minutes following a dressing room fracas involving Andy Morrison
26 April 2004 - Sutton Coldfield Town home (WSC final) - abandoned due to torrential rain after 5 minutes, by when we were 1-0 up.
I can only remember a few occasions prior to this - at Chelmsford in 1987 and at Atherstone in 1997 - on both occasions due to thunderstorms - and at hone to Dartford in 91/2 season (frozen pitch).
Any more to add to the above?

I vaguely remember one in the 1960's. I had been forced to watch a WRGS v King's School rugby match at Flagge Meadow, but sneaked out to see the second half of City's match. Unfortunately, the game had been called off at half-time. From what I recall, it was in the John Fairbrother era, which would have been around 1963-65.

I think a 1963 home fixture v Yeovil was abandoned due to fog

"I had been forced to watch a WRGS v King's School rugby match at Flagge Meadow, but sneaked out to see the second half of City's match." Through the fence onto the canal tow path, then sneak behind the shrubbery to SGL. I did the same - probably including the game you tried for - many times!

It was awkward getting away from Flagge Meadow until I was in the sixth form, when some of my classmates were the prefects who checked names. They would tick my name off in advance and I would go past the ground on the back of my Dad's moped with my crash helmet on and my head down on our way to the Lane. I never felt guilty about this. After all, rugby is a game that originated because a public schoolboy failed to grasp the hand ball rule!
