For me the jury is still out on him. First touch has been terrible lately, normally resulting in his second touch being a 50/50 challenge to try & win the ball back.

Well he's not at his best lately especially compared to early last season when he looked sharp and dangerous. I think he is talented so maybe it's a confidence issue but my feeling is he should use his pace more often by taking defenders on down the flanks to get into the box, and not be shy to shoot, look what Sean Geedes achieved today from outside the box. All forwards go through these spells of poor form, if he keeps working hard I am sure he will come good again.

Think he's suffering from a lack of confidence at the moment but he had a shocker today in my opinion........sorry Daniel if you're reading

In the close season Daniel Nti was looking for full time football, and had trials at Nuneaton and Wrexham, and didn't manage to get a contract offer and ended signing for us. In my opinion he has not really done it for us so far, his lack of goals and lack of first touch and poor decision making is his downfall at present. You cannot be critical of his efforts and commitment, he has scored three goals and two of them have come from the penalty spot, it may be a confidence thing which all strikers go through. It may be that he is playing on the right wing, he should be playing closer to Symo" and feeding off his flick ons and use his speed on the shoulder of the last defender. On Saturday I noticed the crowd were getting frustrated with him, we should all get behind him on Tuesday night against Boston United and hope we can get another Three points.

I agree with the post above: he had a shocker on Saturday. Couldn't do anything right. Still deserves more game time, but I sensed growing frustration amongst the crowd too.

He will know he had a "mare" but with Symo not expected to do 90 and Nick doing his usual 65 he had to stay on and to be fair to the lad he did not hide and still showed to receive the ball. Confidence may be a factor as he chose the wrong option a couple of times when shooting instead of passing and trying to pick a pass when through in second half. Otherwise he has been ok for me this season.

Played much better tonight and his goal was superbly taken. Hopefully this is the turning point in his season. Daniel has great promise, as yet unfulfilled, but with any luck he will get there soon.

Agree, it was an excellent goal. He also had a header cleared off the line and a volley straight into their centre half. Hopefully with better fortune he will start knocking them in.
