I did read the club has been running at a £200k annual loss for some time (despite some big transfers and good cup runs). This is apparently about 'the Lanes' - who have been longstanding benefactors to Kiddy but have allegedly stopped / threatened to stop, but presumably have some obligation to continue...

The Lanes have recently resigned from the board Theyve paid silly amounts of money on x2 managers and an assistant its no wonder theyve had some difficult financial problems this summer

Our landlords Kidderminster Harriers fc have big money problems, with big name players leaving the club , Michael Gash going to Nuneaton on loan , Chey Dunkley has been sold to Oxford United , Josh okeefe has joined Chester ,Jasbir Singh has gone out on loan , and Nathan Blissett on the verge of moving Bristol Rovers today. A recent fans forum with manager Gary whild , Mark Creighton and captain Josh Gowling revealed how deep the problems are ,with the club having a transfer embargo put on them early earlier this season, which the board kept from the supporters. Gary Whild said the club will likely have to go part time and said a number of players will be leaving the club ( high wage earners). The fans want known where all money has gone in last 12 months the sale Jamille Matt , Joe Lolley , the cup run last season with a big pay day at Sunderland. None of the board directors attended the forum. Worcester city fc board need to keep a eye on this situation at aggborough.

Although sad it is they are right royally up a stream without a paddle, this wont effect us, this season at least. Theres a contract in place and the terms cannot be changed ie more money being asked for. Although if we were to stay they may well ask...all depends if they want the money that bad. You hear all different kinds of stories from KHFC staff. Some say they are selling off a couple to bring in a decent football league striker, others just know its because they cannot survive the way they are going.
Sacking Burr was a huge mistake, hiring Thorn and his assistant, putting players on contracts for two years, paying agents fees, sacking Thorn and his staff and paying players off....all adds up and screams bad management at the top.
Not forgetting Serrell apparently pulling money out of club in the run up to walking out on them, and budgeting for the directors (ernie and cath lane) to put in X amount of money during the season.
Majority of Lolley money was used during the summer months to pay the staff, inc players who were not actually there for X amount of time.
Many fear they will be in Vanarama North next season

Much as I hate to say it, they'll stay up.Easily I reckon.
And even more so, for all the things WCFC have done wrong, they've done right pretty much. A lesson to be learned there.
Though I do also long for their footballing demise...

Nah, respect their ground-share, but will never wish them good luck. To me they're our main rivals and always will be...

Whilst we are flying at the moment, let's not forget that we are at Aggborough through our own repeated mismanagement at SGL over the years ( far far worse than anything ever done at Kidderminster } , so I can empathise with their supporters. I wish that we'd just made their mistakes and had a ground like theirs ! I can remember the old oval tarmac strip around the pitch, so for me they have done a great job in getting a ground we can only wish for. Whilst they have always been our rivals, without them allowing us to use their ground ( a similar ground to the one we should have had many times over the last 40 years ), we wouldn't be enjoying the present. For that, we can be grateful, and look forward to continuing our healthy rivalry on the pitch.
