Gutted. Would have been good to play them. They have good, friendly fans and would have made a nice addition to the league. Oh well!

It looks good for us Lancashire based City fans, with localish trips to Hyde and Chester, and 15 minute trips to Fylde and Chorley - happy days

But will Oxford survive Hayes & Yeading's appeal against their relegation? According to Conference rules it should surely be Hayes that stay up. We'll find out in the next week or so I guess.

Know it does not concern us but some of the changes at step 3 seem odd, as Stourbridge were told they would go North but have been kept South and so FA have sent Corby to the northern wastelands instead. OK I see it now it is their Scottish roots! Also the chairman at Kings Lynn was relieved that the idea of them playing in the Ryman League has not happened.
