Yes, it just shows the dangers of a club being owned by one person (in my humble opinion no club should be - it's the fans that turn up and pay every week who should own the club.

In my heart of hearts I'm not even sure they are going to be in the Southern League: we shall know next Friday if they've met the SL requirements. It's a sorry day for non-league football and thank goodness it ain't us! Whats the League called below the Southern League? Up here I guess it would be the "North West Counties League".

Midland Alliance have Bromsgrove Sporting and Pershore town in.
Thats if they survive long enough to get into any leagues prior to August
Players sleeping in the conference rooms on army type beds, debts now upto £1.2 million, new chairman was only told it was 300k.
David Keyte and his board have killed the club
They will be wound up in court soon.
What lesson can be learned from this ? Back Perdiswell, Back The Trust...lets keep this great club going and not become a HUFC in the next couple of seasons

BBCHW reported tonight that the players had not received cheques supposedly posted last Friday: the next 48 hours will reveal all I reckon.

Hereford fans have planned a funeral march through the city from Edgar Street this Thursday to council buildings where they will hand in a petition regarding the leases for Edgar Street

At least Herefordshire Council have had the good sense NOT to let Tommy Sh*tface have those leases. I reckon they're the key to the future for the Bulls.

I heard from a good source that their debt is actually in excess of £1.3M - with little or no assets there's not much chance of them surviving

If they survive winding-up and enter administration they will, presumably, start next season on -10 points, and - to boot - a league below City! The last time City played at a higher level than Hereford was in the 1964-65 season (Hereford had been relegated to SL Division 1 the season before)- i.e. exactly 50 years ago!
This means, presumably, if the BBC follow their previous policy of taking match commentary in the order of ranking of the clubs it will be Kiddy, then City, then Hereford, so we may get a bit more coverage than in previous seasons.

Doubt that very much.....probably replace Hereford with Warriors

Or - conveniently - change the policy: should I lobby Trevor Owens???

Really feel for the Hereford fans. They have been royally screwed over.

Isn`t it somewhat ironic that this Fans` Forum attracts more response from those salivating over the demise of our neighbours than the wonderful work being done to keep our own club alive.
Funny lot, football folk !

Schadenfreude. Part of the DNA of all football supporters. Hate a few teams dislike most and mock the rest

I've nothing personal against Hereford Untited, but they go to court AGAIN on Monday. Six times they been adjourned and given more time. I can't remember any other club having so many chances. This time I hope they satisfy the court or (not my preference) go out of business ! It's a shame, but come on , there has to be a limit?

I think the courts have shown considerable forbearance towards Hereford United. I just wonder if their patience will finally run out on Monday?

Presumably means any fixture due on Saturday next will have to be postponed? And will that, in itself, lead to a fine for "failing to fulfil their fixture" ?
A bad day for them in every respect.

A shady chairman with dodgy associates? Thank goodness we've never seen that at WCFC!
