Danny Glover seems to lose his way most seasons, mind you he needs a very big map so he knows which club he plays at each season.

Danny Glovers departure from City was the catalyst for the revival! He was awful and not interested in playing for City.
Not saying he's a poor player but he ain't the same player he was first time around for City.
Rumour had it he was disruptive whilst at City, I think that point has been proven given our results of late !!!

Rumour had it he was disruptive whilst at City, I think that point has been proven given our results of late !!! Big word there is RUMOUR ! That is guessing ! More to the point I think the current players and staff deserve more credit for recent results more than pointing the fingers at Glovers departure being the key to it. On Danny, yes he wasn't as good the second time around for us as he was the first but let's remember he had just the season before helped Nuneaton to promotion and was then dropped like a stone that summer, I think anyone who was riding high on a promotion success and was then dropped from the club would take a hit in confidence. He actually played well, he was just lacking that potent strike rate from the season prior. And full credit to him for staying at the club and reducing his own wage to do so in the summer, he could've turned his back on iy like Symons, Elvins, Birley etc etc And let's be honest there were a number of fans (mainly on social media sites) who didn't exactly welcome him back with open arms in his first season back. Good luck Danny wherever you go next.

AFC Telford have suspended Danny Glover while he appeals to the FA and league after being found guilty of playing three times for a sunday league side in Stoke on Trent while under contract at AFC Telford. The club have given him 14 days notice to terminate his contract, and want him off the books as he hasn't featured for the club since 3rd October. Both the club and player will await the decision of the appeal lodged by Danny Glover.

Sunday league, about his level. He was once a very promising talent who never reached his potential.

Seem to remember a bit of a rumpus a few years ago when it emerged that a load of prominent Birmingham area-based players who were under contract at senior clubs were found to be receiving payment for playing for a Sunday side as well. Including a few who had plied their trade in blue and white.
