Agree that it is interesting that he seems to have been assured of playing every week.
What do people think of Taundry as a player?

Good player, improved a lot since gaining first team fitness again. A little bit of a Mourinho plan going on here, weve played Moors twice and gotten the points out of those games and theyve still got games against Stockport x2, Gloucester (H), Gainsborough, Workington, Barrow, Histon and Vauxhall so Taundry will only add to their midfield strength against those down in and around us.
But if the statement is true that he has been complaining and left because theyve offered a more 'lucrative' deal then he is a player we can do without right now, we need more Jamie Grimes type players who just want to play and win.
The signing of Bullman is good.

I thought he was a good acquisition: strong in the tackle and (usually) a good distributor of the ball. However, we cannot give anyone the assurance they'll be playing every week; it wouldn't be fair on those who have quietly sat on the bench without complaint and now find themselves in the first choice eleven.

It appears that since the arrival of Brown, Taundry was the one to sit on the bench. If one had to choose between the two, on current form I would pick Brown. I still think that Taundry had a lot to offer and certainly stiffened the midfield when he arrived. Up until his arrival, we didn't have anyone outside of the back four who could tackle - with the opposition running through our "challenges" at will. Sorry to see him go, but the club is bigger than any individual. Hopefully both sides benefit from the outcome.

Taundry was on the bench for Solihull today and didn't come on. Their squad featured 6 other ex City players.
