I know they are all big games from now onwards due to our 'position' but tomorrow's game is particularly crucial, given Barrows win at Brackley Town in midweek. There's a danger the bottom three, including us, could lose contact with the rest of the pack. I am looking forward to seeing our three new signings in action. The weather forecast seems to have changed slightly for the better and instead of torrential rain we can expect heavy showers instead! It's not going to be easy against an in form team undefeated in the last nine matches of which they have won seven. But we need the points! Come on City surprise them all!!!

There is no mention of a pitch inspection, so I am assuming the ground is OK. C'mon City!

Many congrats to everyone for a thoroughly deserved win. It became clear to me as the game wore on that Colwyn Bay's direct game would not work when they were playing into the wind, and so it was. City simply managed the conditions better today.

Excellent. Fully deserved. Not wishing to knock the officials but City got nothing this afternoon. They overcame the opponents, the conditions AND the officials. Well done City.
The 3 newcomers were solid and had a presence. Brown was a man mountain physically and metaphorically, organising the team at defensive set pieces. It was his free kick at the other end that was spilled by the keeper to put us 2 up.
Two wins on the bounce, dare we dream of more.
As for the disallowed goal, it was a big call by the linesman who was nearer the play than I was. As it was it did not affect the result. I can say that now we won.

It took a bit of a scrambled goal but you could see the players confidence rise. The last 15-20 mins was as good as I've seen all season. Maybe that bit of luck could be the turning point. Debutants had a good game.
Referee was truly shocking & I've no idea why goal was ruled out. I was stood that side of the goal & the ball didn't go out & surely not for offside

Another crucial win today in difficult conditions. It made a change to see city as the bigger, more physical side and they used this to their advantage. Although two of the smaller players in the side made great impact. George Williams, I feel, was man-of-the-match.
It's still a long way to go but performances like this could just get us out of trouble.
Well done lads.

Great result again this week! Glad to see the dispute over the Colwyn Bay goal did not influence the points outcome. Their goal was one four timed at 90 minutes in the Conference North yesterday.

There was no way the ball was out if play when Brown crossed it, it was a perfect move and finish.
Fantastic performance by the lads, the match officials were...woeful !
Never seen a keeper pushed out of his box when trying to launch the ball for a quick attack only for the referee (who was looking in the opposite direction at the time) to turn around and give a free kick on the edge if the box to the opposition !!
To say Veiga was pleased to save that free kick is an understatement !!
Lastly, George Williams was outstanding as was Tyler Weir but Aaron Brown looks like a superb signing, he was end to end, didn't stop all game and looked dangerous, I've got a feeling we are going to be just fine !

Finally we get a free kick close to goal and have a shot on target instead of the floaty floaty types we keep trying which often do not get past the first man! Seen highlights fail to see how the ball went out of play but officials all afternoon were not great. Fair play to Aaron Williams who put away both chances really well although only the one counted.

Awesome display all over the pitch, but the performance by Brown and Grimes stood out for me. It was great to come away from Aggborough with a feel good factor for a change and I believe we can now move out of the relegation zone.

Thanks to all concerned for uploading the highlights so soon. I hadn't appreciated that Colwyn Bay had some decent chances too. This really was a good performance and a great result.
Quite clearly the ball didn't go out of play for Aaron's first "goal" and I'm glad that an incorrect decision didn't affect the eventual outcome. Interestingly none of the CB players appealed, it was the assistant's call.
Great to hear some singing from behind the goal and a real feel good factor as the players came off. Let's not get carried away just yet but it does give me some optimism when I see a performance like that. What a contrast to the way we struggled at home to Oxford and Gloucester.

An excellent second half performance from the City, thoroughly deserving the 3 points on what was a pudding of a pitch. Brown was outstanding. I have looked at the first goal a few of times now and am still not really sure as to how exactly the ball ended up in their net. As for the disallowed goal, nowhere near being out of play.

I would like to say a big thank you to those who produce these highlights. They are fantastic. Having just watched them I can only agree with what others have said about the disallowed goal. There is no way the ball went out of play before it was crossed.

That was much better. The 3 new signings have made a difference, we've got a bigger more physical presence on the pitch and the ball was played forward instead of sideways creating a few openings. The feelgood factor on the pitch has spread to the fans, the atmosphere behind the goal in the second half was superb, even one of the directors was up there singing. I feel more confident about avoiding relegation now. I don't expect to get anything from Altrincham on Tuesday [but fingers crossed anyway] but Vauxhaul on Saturday followed by Solihull Moors at home now look to be two very winnable games.

Was really glad I went on Saturday (would I ever not go?); I felt if we could weather the first half against that wind (literally) we might come good in the second, and so it proved.
What if that very early shot by George Williams had gone in: that would have been a wonder goal.
Wasn't particularly impressed with Ramsey-Dixon, but appreciate that he may not yet be match fit: I always feel with Ethan Moore that he's going to sniff out a chance somewhere along the line and would like to have seen him start, but - hey - we won, so what the heck. I must say I was impressed by Aaron Brown, especially in the second half - he seemed to be everywhere.
Like other posters on here I was less than impressed by the referee: never once applied any common sense (the booking of Ethan Moore a typical example), and he gave us nowt all afternoon.
It was great to hear the vocal support both from behind the goal and in the main stand. C'mon City!
