Anyone got any car space left for a lift up there? (and back ideally)
It's for Mr Baker who has subtly mentioned on twitter that it'll be his birthday and he hasn't got a way of getting there currently.

AC - To answer your question on the Moors forum, Groundsman is currently at the ground and is marking the pitch. Ground is wet but game is not in doubt. It is not raining here at the moment.

Good luck to City this afternoon. Sounds like a very heavy pitch but hardly unexpected given the weather.
I have to say Carl could teach a lot of managers a thing or two about how to discuss former players in the press and show complete respect and understanding for the many reasons why a player might move on in the semi-professional game. He has done it in talking about this match and has consistently done it before.
Football up here has been saddened by the tragic death - by natural causes and within days of each other - of two fine, young players with Hearts and Hibernian connections and only 13 and 18 years of age respectively. Very sad.

A 1-1 draw must be considered a very good result. Didn't go due to other commitments, but listened to the 2nd half commentary and sounded like City were well worth a draw at the very least.
Well done lads, and this against the side 2nd in the table too.
Now for Gloucester!

Should've won today, we were by far the best team from start to finish.
Had the best of the chances, we keep playing like this and there will be many good results to come.
Well done lads

You wouldn't have known which team was second in the league today. City put in (another) performance which belied a team battling at the bottom. A great point and looked hungry for it. Would have taken it at the start of proceedings but came away feeling that we deserved better. Missed chances and not forcing home possession/territorial advantage on show today which is why we are where we are. Ethan Moore battled throughout and great to see him get on the scoresheet. Great to see us competitive against the sides riding high. Well done City.

Great point today
Interesting how the table is shaping up. There's now a 5 point gap above us, up to Oxford and Stockport. Plus I can see Barrow putting in a good run, with new manager etc.
I reckon our next 4 games (in 11 days) will have a major bearing

Starting with a big one on Saturday. We seem to have fallen short against other sides around us so far this season so fingers crossed for a more positive result this time round.

A great game to watch. City were very unlucky not to come away with a win. Roll on Saturday!

Now, forward in time to March 2014 and at half-time it's 1-0 to Moors via the boot of Ryan Beswick.
Dunkley booked for a tackle on Breeden outside the area; "afters" I think 'cos he was aggrieved to get nothing from an off-the-ball incident with Rob Elvins shortly before that.

Well, what a fantastic turnaround! City win 4-1 with two free-kick goals from Sean Geddes (64 & 82 minutes, Micah Evans (90+2) and Daniel Nti (90+3).
Sweet revenge for that drubbing at Aggborough. Only downside is the injury to Danny Jackman, who was stretchered off with a left-leg injury.

Cracking result. Well done City.
Hope that Danny is OK.
Great result for Colwyn Bay today too beating Tamworth 2-0 to take them within a couple of points from safety. Gloucester must be getting nervous now!!

Great second half comeback and display, considering all the injuries, we all wish Danny Jackman a speedy recovery with his ankle injury. Carl Heeley on bbc h & w said that Wayne Thomas has had his contract cancelled due to taking a coaching role with " New York Red Bulls" , best of look Wayne a true professional.

Good performance today and helped by Moors' comedy goalkeeper ;-0. Well done to all.
Gutted from a supporters point of view to hear about Wayne Thomas leaving but pleased for him. I wish him all the best and thank him for his time with us. Two big games coming up now, come on City!!
Best wishes too to Danny Jackman, hope he recovers soon.

Top result
How many players will we be left with for Tuesday??! Jackman likely injured, and was this the last game for Lynch and Evans on loan from Southport?
Add to that Thomas, Weir, Shab, Gater.
Hopefully Symmo will be fully fit and Brown available.

Brown is suspended! Carl said in interview he hoped to extend the loan period for Lynch and Evans.
Disappointing news about Wayne Thomas, but how is a club of our size going to stand in a career move like that? I am sure all City supporters will join me in thanking him for his sterling efforts during his time here and wishing him all the very best in the USA.

A terrific result if tainted by the injury to Danny Jackman. The match I was at today had a 14:30 kick off and so I was following the Worcester News report on the way home - don't worry I was on the bus! - and could not believe what I was reading!

A great win (aren't they all?) but I do think 4-1 flattered us a little, for the greater proportion of the game It looked like we would do well to get a point. Having said that I think we were worthy of the three points, Moors had chances to go 2-0 up but they never really took the game by the scruff of the neck as we did towards the end. Nti had his best game for a while but for me man of the match was Dean Waldron, for a youngster he looked very self-assured in midfield and hardly wasted a pass and complemented Ellis Deeney very in midfield. Well done to Carl and the lads for battling through to an important win.

Congratulations to Carl Heeley, Gards , Snapper and the players on a great result at Solihull. Carl has had to deal with major disruption to his squad this season , with the loss of George Williams , Graham Hutchingson, and now Wayne Thomas and long term injuries to Nathan Vaughan , Tyler Weir , Connor Gater, Mike Syons. Michael Taylor, and the loss of Shab Khan for six games, and still putting a side out to get results.
