my real name is mark but virtually no one calls me that anymore! i m known to my friends as smog which is short for smogdog as according to them i am a bio hazzard, i m scuffy, i bathe too little and smoke too much. some of my older acquaintances still call me gobbler and for obvious reasons i prefer smog!

My real name is Daz. I'm Darrell for short.
Although my mum calls me 'fatty' and Mazey calls me 'tubs'. My friends in Coventry call me 'Blini', 'Daz' or 'Worcester'. My 2 year old brother calls me 'Daw-a' and my gaffer seems to think my middle name is 'f*ck off'.

My name is Time. No one ever gets too much of me, though I am short. A clever man called Stephen Hawking wrote my biography. My secret talent is that I can fly. If I ever run out, you're in big trouble.

My name is Toerag Inbred Muppet. I choose to call myself "tim" as it is an acronym. I recently changed my name from "AP is God" when I converted to agnosticism and realism.

agnostics, realists, surreallists, zealots, infidel, supersmiters, poets, fools and bums sounds like a pretty good broad church to me!

I am Dave or David (if you are my mother) and was formally known as Shed Army and later as Sheddy.
Dropped the pseudonym when this new board was created, although I still get "alright Sheddy" called at me now and then down the lane!

I'm suv, though to some people I'm suth. My surname is Southall as in "South + all" though people in this city tend to pronounce my surname "Suth + all" as in the school "Samuel Suthall" (though spelt "Southall).
Most people (who know my family) think my parents have 2 sons, Suv and the other one they've never met called Andrew.

I don't have a pseudonym; I'm really who I say I am.
I based this philosophy on the adverts which say "It does exactly what it says on the tin".

Thats fine Tim, but a) I have no idea who you are , so if you'd called yourself Ian Snodgrass I'd be none the wiser, however and more importantly in this cybercrime filled age b) People who you may not wish to know you can get a lot of information from the web, and knowing your name and you are from Lower Broadheath is a good start towards an identity switch. Its like when you are asked a security question like "Whats your mothers maiden name?" you'd be crazy to actually give your mothers real maiden name!!!! Personally I'd go with a pseudonym online. Its what you say that is most valid, not who you really are.

Of course I could be lying thro' my back teeth both as to (a) whether that's my real name and (b) whether I'm from Lower Broadheath!

that is true Tim, but you really must be careful online. I've spent a lot of my time online as Isaac Hunt
