City win 2-1. Hoping this is the beginning of a run to take us up the table. Very tight at the bottom with at least 5 teams really in the 'scrap' for survival, and the ones above them within touching distance.

Heeley out! Great spirit by the looks today. Could have been heads down after conceding late. Shab back seemed positive so red card is a shame. Well done Carl, Matt and the lads.

Football... can't describe the deflation when I heard they had equalised and Shabba had been sent off or the elation when we scored again.
Well done lads. A real backs to the wall fighting spirit. Lets hope that continues on Tuesday night.
COME ON YOU CITY BOYS!

Fantastic result, well done. Was gutted to hear Stalybridge had equalised but then so happy that we came right back at them and snatched a winner. Really looking forward to Tuesday now.

What a cracking result and shows the importance of keeping going until the final whistle. After the run of recent results, dealing with the last five minutes or so of this game would have taken great character from the team and the supporters at the game - well done! As others have said it is a tight league situation and it is only November.

On yesterday's showing ... you are in a false position in the league ... should really have been out of sight at h/t but there y'go ... a few pics (naturally Stalybridge-biased so no sign of your goals !!!) but ... a couple at the end (nice to see your team applauding the travellers !) mossleysmiffy.jalbum.net/StalybridgeCWorcesterC23Nov13/

says steved above, and I echo those sentiments entirely. When Stalybridge equalised and Shab was sent off I honestly thought, given when Stalybridge scored their goal, they would go on and win the game and we'd get nowt. Here in Lower Broadheath my cheer when Nti scored must have been heard all over the village! And then to have to survive 5 minutes of added time: agony! That's football all right. Sometimes it kicks you right in the goolies, but this was one time it was ace to be a City supporter.
I really look forward to Tuesday and Saturday now.
