Two games in a row now and its been tetchy behind the goal. We need something to either encourage fans down to that'd end of the ground or to open the other end so away fans can follow home fans lead by standing behind the goal they are attacking. Sitting down isn't appealing to some fans and I can see this hassle happening over and over again every week. Not fun and not wanted. Please can some common sense prevail. Lee I have again taken this to the board of directors. As I said before it was a finance thing that had the hands tied, I believe that on this occasion and following today it will be discussed and given the green light that the end behind the yellow stand goal will be open to the half way point for future games

Got confused with the new turnstile arrangement, qued up only to be told we had to go round the corner to get in. I had my young son who has to pay to get in so I had to watch him through and tell him to wait while I had to run round to get in. This is not an ideal situation.

I don't think the club can help where the location of turnstiles are to be honest. Having said that if all you are doing is having your ticket stub removed ask a steward on the day or on the turnstiles and they can put you through together and make a note for when the money/Stubbs is handed in

I did try but the guy on the turnstile said they were told not to accept any tickets and refused to let me through.

That would make sense to tell Carl to release a couple of players to open up more of the ground because some kids have a shamdy and make some noise! Good atmosphere and support in the stand where I sit and I always stood at SGL.

The 2 sets of supporters do need to be separated. If we only want to open 2 sides of the ground, put the visiting fans at the far end of the main stand [the end we attacked first half] then leave a good sized gap up to our supporters. That would give us about 2/3rds of the main stand and all of the end behind the goal. Also today the turnstile arrangement was confusing.

Why not open half of each end behind the goals? Surely this requires the same amount of stewards as opening the whole of one end?
Also, as mentioned on the Hednesford forum, the PA system is far too loud. I'm sure we all want to hear announcements but it's deafening. A little less volume please

I do agree about the p.a. in some parts of the ground it is painfully loud but other parts, say for example, where people gather by the food hut before and at half time, it can't be heard very well at all. Niels, when you shouted 'cmon the city' it was so so loud everyone at the end had their fingers in their ears. I think, compared to SGL its a much louder system with real speakers, whereas at the lane it was old tin cans. Maybe just one notch or so down would make it nicer in all areas.

The Aggboro' experience so far is absolutely positive. I thought I'd miss SGL, but so far the facilities and the general atmosphere have made it nothing but pleasurable (apart from the result against Altrincham that is!).
Why don't we have a fanfare when City come out? Try "Fanfare for the Common Man" by Aaron Copland: there was an excellent Emerson Lake and Palmer version a few years ago. It's a very stirring piece.

Very much agree about the Aggborough experience being nothing but pleasureable and talking about rousing music to come out to, how about the theme from 633 Squadron?

One thing I thought was a bit petty was a Harriers Season Ticket holder turned up and insisted on sitting in his seat and made the family who was there (Hednesford supporters as it happened) all move along one space.

Are Harriers season tickets valid on City match days? Presumably he would have had to pay to get in, which would surely render his Harriers reserved seat null and void? There's always one though. Good of him to come along really!
How about Nimrod as the walk on tune? Some stirring Elgar to get things uplifted.

What on earth ! It's just cheaper for them to enter the ground, not cheaper and sit where they always do !

If the bar in the ground isn't going to be open to general fans from now on, can the club arrange for some programmes to be sold in the pub outside the ground please? Having a pre-match pint & reading the programme is one of the simple things in life I enjoy )

Cloud. We at the PA box were told, and announced, that the bar inside the ground will be available to all supporters for the duration of the season.
TeeJay. Nimrod is the saddest and most moving tune that I know, so that won't be played as the players run out. Although thinking about it, it would save on using the sprinkler.

Well the Sisters of Mercy used to come on stage to Nimrod!
How about Madness' 'In the City'?
Or
Ride of the Valkyries, Romeo and Juliet (NOT dire straits!)
Or best of all
The Vikings theme music. Epic.

Whenever I hear the Jam track, In the City, I can always see an image of banks of Worcester fans shouting "UP THE CITY"
Think that would be a decent track to come out to as well.

I've got a couple of bits of specially commissioned music used to walk out to.
I'll stick them on a disc/USB and pop them up to the box before next game

Just, erm, out of curiosity, which seat was it? I'll see if I can get a freeze frame from the match video and count along to his seat, then maybe the brave amongst us can take it in turns to stand up to someone of the older generation waving a season ticket and refuse to move if he does it again.

Well, I think it's nice that a Harriers fan came to see the City: quite a compliment in a way.

OPENING OF SOUTH STAND (TERRACE) In response to feedback from our supporters, it has been decided that the club will open up the part of the South Stand (Terrace) on certain match-days. We recognise that supporters of both Worcester City FC and those visiting like to be able to swap ends at Half Times intervals, as we were able to do at St Georges Lane. Due to cost implications and the expected lower attendances this season it was decided very early on in discussions between both Worcester City FC and Kidderminster Harriers FC that only the North Stand (Terrace) and Main Stand would be used. We have now taken a view that on certain games, particularly when we are anticipating a number of ‘away supporters’ we will now open part of the South Stand. We hope that this will further improve the match-day experience at Aggborough Stadium. A list of those games when these arrangements will apply will be released after the Gainsborough Trinity game on Tuesday 17th September. For those games where a low match-day attendance in terms of visiting supporters is expected that the current arrangements will be kept in place. Full segregation arrangements will also be put in place at those games where this is necessary. Currently these plans will be put in place for the visits of AFC Telford and Stockport County. MATCH DAY CAR PARKING It is clear from feedback the Club has received that the car parking arrangements are being well received by all spectators attending Aggborough. I don't think many of us expected all of the car parks to sell out. We can confirm that these arrangements will be remain for the duration of this season. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all supporters for using the car park areas and all revenue received goes directly to the Club. The Club are still awaiting a decision from Wyre Forest District Council as to whether they are willing to allow free match day parking on the Pay and Display Car Park behind the North Stand. We will update supporters once a decision has been made but in the interim supporters are advised to pay the appropriate fee to avoid penalty charges. .

Glad to be of service. You Englanders have got to get your world news from somewhere, as the BBC sure as hell doesn't give you any.
