Please do your best to let people know this is happening and get down for a few beers yourselves. The money raised from this is going to our Perdiswell planning application. It's going to cost the trust nearly 3 grand so lets make this a success and raise some money!

Sounds like a good list but can I ask How many are going to be proper cask ales from the cask and how many are going to be boil in the bag from the plastic bag in a box, like last year?? Can't see why that would change this year. Cider may be in a polypin but can't see why the ale won't be served properly from a cask.

I hate real ale! But i will be there to support the event. Any chance of cold lager? Yes, the bar will be open too. Regarding polypins ets. We do get beers donated so it would be a bit of a cheek to look a gift horse in the mouth. I'm told we have a beer making it's debut as well! One beer is going to be called "To Absent Friends" so people can raise a toast to those no longer with us.

How child friendly is the event ? My wife and her friend are hoping to be able to get down and see the Miffs play on Friday night but will have to take the babies and toddlers ( I am hoping to join them if I can get back from Norwich quickly enough)....

Well there's no creche unfortunately! The bands are down the far end and the beer is at the top as you walk in. Bit in middle should be OK for a sit down with the kids

Well, the last festival down the Lane was ceartainly the best. I hope everyone who came down had a good time, we'll be doing one next year but venue TBC....
Thanks to all those who donated to the festival and to everyone who helped out. Because of this generosity shown we took just under £4000 from beer sales, entrance fee, sale of glasses and raffle tickets. There are bills yet to be paid but we're looking at a profit of over £3K. Thanks again and see you all somewhere next year.
