And its still a blatent dive by the Hinckley player at the start of the second half, despite the bloke next to me arguing that Thompson 'Clattered' him.
Had the cheek to offer me his glasses !!

Highlights indeed! Lots of attempts on goal by both sides. Hinckley may feel unlucky that one of those three crosses into the box in the first half were not converted but City got on top. Some great City goals with five goal scorers. Great result 5-0 away from home and keeps the goal difference looking healthy in case we need it!
As ever great filming and quality of production - thank you.

Be a shame if they sank into oblivian but with their financial problems they may not make it to the end of season which would expunge all their results and give our goal difference a bash too.

It was a right weird game. Extreme sense that something was wrong at the club, i felt. Nobody in the club house before the game, nobody at the game really, id say 300 at most? I really hope the club stay alive, but if they carry on like that, i cant see it happening. Ive seen on the net today that notts county are coming in for two of their players and another one may be off too. I guess they arent contracted to the club. A good few goals and definitely what we needed. Get the lads scoring again. I thought mikey T had a good game when he got on the pitch, manage to tear away from their fullback a couple of times. Thorley or Simmo MOTM i think. the freekick was beautiful and the whip he got on it was brilliant!

Must say, watching that, it didn't look like a 5-0 game and I think the scoreline flattered us a bit. However I'll take a flattering 5-0 win any time.
We'll have to defend better than that next Saturday and stop those crosses coming in.

The Hinckley United unofficial website has a good balanced report on the match - balanced in the sense it reflects what you can see in the highlights and picked up from reports by others. A great result. www.hinckleyunitedfc.co.uk/news/news07.html#03_11

Let's hope Hinckley don't go out of business or else the result will disappear from the record books.

That could cost us a play-off place if it happened!
With Kettering teetering on the brink as well it makes you grateful for every Saturday that we see a match.

The statement issued by the new Board to shareholders makes interesting reading, and unfortunately, there are parallels with how our old Board operated. Charges placed on assets, which are now being considered as to be disputeable and part of a legal investigation. I wonder if the same can be said about the sale of 99% of the assets at WCFC Ltd. ?
