Stalybridge penalty looked extremely soft! The elvins red should have been the other way. A horrible studs up 2 footed tackle. I wish alistair had put the slip over in when the ref gave a free kick for that. A bit embarrassing but we should have taken our chances and had it buried at half time.

Neither of their goals were pretty, for the second goal the player was hugging Jacob Rowe to head home, poor referee decisions.
The penalty was soft but cannot argue that it wasnt a red card, if he gives the penalty then he gives the card.
Agree with Lee that Rob's red card challenge couldve gone the other way but at the end of the day its she who screams loudest, and indeed she did scream loud.
Its funny how their players surrounded the referee for most decisions in typical Manc fashion !!

Glover looked off side for his goal. But he is clearly not, when the ball is played. Which is what matters. If you can freeze frame around 3.24, just after Tyler has played it, Danny's front foot is about a foot inside the six yard box. The defenders front leg is on about the same line, and his back leg as least a yard further back. The player Tyler is beating with the pass also looks to be playing Danny onside. Agreed?

Even if he was offside, who cares?? Offside is the linesmans job, not the players. If a player can hold the line and get an advantage, which might mean he's in an offside position, good for him, thats good striker play.

Glover looks onside to me when the ball is played. As for the penalty there does seem to be a slight tug, not enough to send someone tumbling to the ground, but sadly that appears to be the current way. At the game I thought the guy had just slipped and the ball was nowhere near, but having seen the video I have to say the ref got that one right, and having given the penalty had no choice but to send Lee Eyres off as the player looked like he would have got the ball. How he can send Rob Elvins off for surviving a two footed lunge though is beyond me - that should have been a straight red card for the Stalybridge player, as should the potentially career ending lunge by their guy on our keeper. All that having been said however, we only have ourselves to blame for not scoring more than one from all the play we had. Just have to take it out on Bromley!

Even if he was offside, who cares?? Stalyvegas? Can see Rob Elvins as a booking, hence a red card, as he has already been booked. The Celtic player plays the ball with his leading leg, and Rob's right foot catches him high. Doesnt look like a two footed lunge by the Celtic player to me. TBH, cant see why Rob Elvins was even penalised. In fairness, he is the last man, 'cos Jacob is flattened by a leading arm/elbow in the neck of the guy who heads it down. So, everyone sees it differently! Which makes it hard for refs, and linesmen. Staly got the breaks on the day, when City could have done more from their possession. A defeat somehow felt unfair - but the history books will forever show Staly won 2-1. Nonetheless, I think most people left impressed by Worcester's performance. I always find this table interesting, the way it shows results against league position ... www.statto.com/football/teams/worcester-city/2012-2013

Stalyvegas. Are you thick or are you just having a moment or eight?
People were booing the ref, and your cheating side.
Danny's goal not offside. Penalty clearly not a penalty. Celtic player throws himself to the ground after Ayers brushes him trying to change direction. Nothing but a cheat. Second goal clearly shows Celtic player piggybacking on Rowe, who turns round looks at the ref and seems dumbfounded that he doesn't get a freekick. Elvins sending off doesn't even look a foul to me. However we had enough good chances to have been three or four up by then.

When they should have been singing 'We got past Joel Bembo Leta' in a rather out of tune manner?

We don't cheat you're blaming us for your players inability to take their chances.

I would hope that the Club send the video to the FA so they can see the standard of refereeing that we have to put up with. The slowmo of the Elvins booking is a horror - the Celtic player off the ground with all studs showing and didn't even get booked. But rest assured, we had Andy Williams in the stand who was presumably doing an assessment of the officials. Now THERE was a bad ref ! He went on to feature in numerous Match of the Day clips, usually with the dialogue "did the linesman not see that". In saying that, we should have put the game away. I thought Lee Ayres was magnificent in the first half. His distribution puts him ahead of Lowe in my book.
