Hard fought win in difficult conditions - blustery wind, swirling drizzle. Thought we defended very well as a team with everyone working hard. The only real quality football came from City and the best move of the match lead to the goal.

It was hard viewing. Especially the last 15 minutes. Smash it up field, defend until we get it back. Smash it up field. Repeat. I hope we are better on Saturday. There was a lot of awful passing and simple things just didn't seem to happen. As soon as we used the wings, we scored, which we haven't been using well the last few games.
Here's to a better game in Weston!

One thing that stood out for me last night was the work rate and performance of Charlie Reece. He was all over the place and constantly at the heels of the player with the ball, he is putting in some brilliant performances at the moment.

And getting left on the bench as a reward!
At least we have got the away win monkey off our back. Onwards to Saturday. Here's hoping Jacob Rowe is fit to play, as he is tireless in defence.
The fact that the highlights comes to 2'26" says it all!

The bloke coming out of the toilet after we score must have been gutted he missed the only action of the whole match!
