Article suggests that Ellis Deeney is back with the squad, then.

Am assuming the Breeze in today's starting line-up is midfielder Matt Breeze. Worcester-based attacking midfielder, who has been at Posh, but was on loan at Histon last season.

Not sure where Hunt is though !? Glad to see Glyn Thompson is with the squad. And that Symo is knocking the goals in! Along with your question about Hunt, Verner, seemingly none of the 'bigger names' like Lee Baker, Kevin Sandwith or Robin Hulbert today, either.

Maybe, or maybe affordability.
Cant imagine that, in addition to signing Glover, Weir and Reece, that we would also have the budget for more than one or two of Thompson, Baker, Sandwith, Mills and Hulbert.
Maybe younger players like Deeney, Denny, Breeze etc - all decent players in their positions - would allow us to bring in Thompson, who is a class above in that position.
Anyway, its obviously very early, and players can still be away on holiday etc.

Dont know to be honest, when you think we've lost O'Connor, Lee Smith and Jimmy being main three players then you would think that there is money to play with.
Then you take out Bertram, Brown, Edwards Green and Mills theres something to play with.
But you never know !

Brown, Edwards and Green all played yesterday. Edwards was skipper for the day too, looked okay, had a couple of chances but did do the same as last year beating a player 3 times and getting to close to the by-line only to put in a poor cross or out of play. They all looked fit - Deeney played really well, looked totally different class. He had so much more time than anyone else. Brown looked inventive too.

Not that it is particularly relevant, but what was the final score?
