Smoked tabs = watch the football, give up= go shopping on saturday with the missus.
Those Malborough adverts are right, the tabs make you manly.

RB made the same decision as a few others including me. With idiots like Morrison at the club, its easy to find better ways to spend your Saturday afternoons and Monday evenings.

Never ripped it up Smog. I merely placed it on the side to gather dust in the hope that perhaps Morrison would go or be pushed (which was he?) before the final home game.
To be perfectly honest, I haven't really missed it that much. Won't be renewing the season ticket this time, even with no Mozza.

Well I am genuinely glad to see some old posters on here. How many more are there under new names? Can you all re-register as you were? It's confusing for us old folk when people start changing their identities - I'm still confused by Gerry Dorsey becoming Englebert Humpersomething. I don't like losing people off here. There aren't that many of us to start with - and the club needs as much support as possible.
Too many good posters have dissapeared for a variety of reasons, including: Ed; Niels; Croc; Cogg - to name just a few. Have we lost them as supporters - or just posters?

I think you'll find that a) I posted that well before he'd gone, and b) His actions this season have been idiotic at best, criminal at worst. I'm not going to change my view on the man just to satisfy the zealots who think thuggery deserves some kind of support. Other idiots like Keith Knight and Darren Bullock were shown the door, and I don't remember too many of you "true supporters" protesting about their treatment. WCFC needs good and strong men in the key positions at the club, we don't need loose cannons making the national press for their misdemeanours. Losing JT is a big loss, he's a 100% man, a good and strong man who gave everything for his club, and always played the game in good spirit, hard but fair. Morrison will be forgotten by the time next season starts, thank goodness. I may now rejoin the Teambuilder and Superpool and start investing in the club once more. Isn't that what true supporters do? invest in their club for the long term future of their club? |

Please tell me though, because I am intrigued, what is the definition of a "true supporter"?
There must be two type of supporter - true and pretend. Now, I like to think that was I to pretend to support a football club I would choose one that could at least manage a top five finish in the Conference North.

You and me both Rentbook. Jock is no god, he's nothing special, just another in a line of management who's failed to see out his assignment. Come on Andy Preece, this really is your big chance to show that you've got everything it takes to be a superb manager. Preecey is one of the most engaging men in football management, if ever you talk to him, or listen to what he's got to say, you realise he's a very intelligent young man. If he can engage the players and get them to wrok as a team, without the brash bravado they appear to have been given this season, then I see us succeeding next season.

To make sense of the above....I actually put that by TTK's definition I was not a true supporter because I refused to worship at the alter of Jock. If that made me NOT a true supporter then so be it.

I also believe that in my absence Colley and Warmer have been playing in midfield. Couple this with the fact that he no longer had to carry Cornes and perhaps this made it possible for Cleggie to shine alittle more. |
