There has been lots of chat recently about what is going to happen to the future of WCFC. The future is still in our hands and very much in the balance. But you can help. The Supporters Trust are doing everything they can to safeguard the future of the club but they need members; and lots of them! They can be the voice of the supporters. The more that join the bigger the say they have and the more power they have to make that difference. SO, to encourage everyone to join, the Trust have now reduced their joining membership fees to just £1 a year. They have also updated their web site and you can join the Trust by clicking on the button in the www.wcfcst.co.uk/?q=node/10" target=”_blank”> 'Join Us' tab of the web site. To keep the administration to a minimum we are asking everyone to join for 5 years (£5). Have a look at the new www.wcfcst.co.uk" target=”_blank” , You can read about the forthcoming events, what the Trust actually is and what their objectives are. More content is being added over the next few weeks. Go on, Join today and make a difference!

As much as I try not to care any more I just can't help getting drawn back in. Like an addict having just one more fix. I've let my Trust membership lapse, but this is a good scheme. The only future WCFC has is through the Trust, forget NW and all the new ground nonsense - we have to think of a life beyond all that because it will all collapse.
If Steve Carley hasn't been dragged across too many carpets following his article on the ground move, then he should be contacted about this £1 plan and the reasons behind it. It might get a few more people thinking.

Of course £1 is the MINIMUM you have to pay. On the original application forms for the Trust there was a donations box, so you could put in £50, or maybe a £25 a month donation. Can this be incorporated ? How much commission do PayPal take out? Ealing, none of us can get away from it. However much we don't care Maybe its because in the right hands, in the right shape, we know it makes sense. Judging by what I've been told, the people who used to apply the stranglehold on the WN arent in a position to do so any more, so I feel their tone and positioning may well be changing.

"the people who used to apply the stranglehold on the WN arent in a position to do so any more" if true, that's the best news I've heard for ages. It could be a significant moment.

If anyone would like to make a donation that can be arranged. And if you put it through PayPal as a gift then I think we can do it without the Supporters Trust having to pay the PayPal commission either (and neither do you) I will investigate further and add the appropriate button to the site

Great call Jem, hadn't even thought of that one I will look into it and add it to the other nice ideas we've been given. By the way, for information we have had 12 people who have signed up to the new Trust web site at www.wcfcst.co.uk. The more people that join the web site and take up the special deal to the Supporters Trust on the site, the more power they have to and the louder thier voice is!

I just cant help but care about the future of the club, and the Supporters Trust has always been the way forward. Gone are the days that the Board just want to milk it as a cash cow. I remember getting a call from boddy asking if it would be ok to put £5000 in the budgets for donations from the Trust to the club - I laughed and said no! Just think where any donations would have gone! Straight into some consultants pockets!!! It saddens me to hear how much the likes of Alan Williams, the most pointless project manager ever, took out of the club in fees. I'm sure he put a lot of work in, I don't doubt that, but what idiots engaged him to do it in the first place? How much did Barry Ward charge for advice and guidance when working on our Phoenix plans? Not a bean!!! Barry, where are you now??

We received a membership request on 27 Mar from initials DJE. if that is you good self then Yes we do have your details and your membership will be registered with Rob / Neils and within 28 days you should get a membership welcome pack. If this is not you , then please get in touch via the WCFCST trust website by emailing admin and we will look into this immediately for you
