Only two ex-City players in their squad I think: Moses-Garvey and DInsmore.

Four nil, totally outplayed them, Redditch didn't seem interested but a good work out before a much tougher encounter Saturday

Thought the players who came in to the team (Taylor, Edwards, Sargent and Rowe) all did well and show there is some depth to our squad. I'm struggling to get used to leaving St George's Lane in a good mood, I don't think it's good for me.

I thought that with a bit more application the score should have been higher.
Their goalkeeper also had a good game and made some really good saves.

"I'm struggling to get used to leaving St George's Lane in a good mood" You're obviously not a true WCFC supporter Harley. Grumpiness is obligatory - especially on the Brookside.

The Brookside is undergoing a makeover, it's all sweetness and light. Wife's getting suspicious as well since I'm coming home with a smile on my face.

"I'm struggling to get used to leaving St George's Lane in a good mood, I don't think it's good for me." No, Verner, it IS good for you: trouble is we've had years of practising grumpiness and it's become a habit.
City really did win in a canter and never got out of second (well, maybe third) gear. Little more than a public training exercise. Score should have been higher: Simmo should have had a hat-trick by half-time and Michael Taylor was so unlucky not to score. He seemed a bit in awe of the regular players and unselfishly passed the ball several times when he might have had a go himself.
Thought Sargent showed how useful it is to have a proper keeper on the bench: he made one stunning flying save worthy of Gordon Banks and had a sound game.

Where do I come into the conversation Tim ??

Sorry Verner : it was Harley that posted the original "I'm struggling............" comment. It should have mentioned his name rather than yours.
