3-0 to them now. We've had lots of chances but not converted them.

4-1 now. Not good enough by a long way.

Now living in Yorkshire, this was my first view of City this term. All round poor display with only Birley looking anything like.Having said that, both he and the clumsy Siymons looked distinctly overweight whilst the whole team ` looked lightweight`against one of the BSN`s better teams.Goalie let fourth goal-a soft shot-go through his legs! Methinks only a supreme City optimist would predict anything but a season of struggle is ahead for this lot!

Bit unfair Dragon after only 1 game. Symons is big and a little heavy, but his strength has shown through in some of the home games, which is something we've been missing up front for a while - plus he's good in the air.
Can't comment on the performance though, but conceding 8 in two games isn't good.

Only commenting on what I saw today, sheff! You have remember that Guiseley are a club that rarely attracts more than` 300 crowds` and pay peanuts to players, only some of whom are on contracts. On the other hand,I do believe there is a surfeit of `failed` pros in the Yorkshire region who seem prepared to play for next to nothing. The same players circulate endlessly between Guiseley,Harrogate,Halifax and the Bradrord clubs, many of them seeming to appear fortnightly at Nethermore for different clubs !

We miss Cartwright, Edwards and Corbett
Emeka Nwadike on the bench today suprised me, thought playing 5 across the midfield may of been the way to beat these boys.
Hopefully we can pull off a huge win against Solihull Moors on Monday night

dragon i think you will find guiseley are one of the big spenders in this division, and harrogate and halifax are hardly spending peanuts either. dont make such rash statements after watching just one match.

Harrogate have a millionaire owner so they are not strapped for cash, neither are Halifax and Guiseley have a decent squad and budget !!

I don`t see the logic in suggesting one should not post on the evidence of one match! All I said was that City were not very impressive today-or is it now a hanging offence to tell the truth?

We have a millionaire chairman too but our constitution makes that irrelevant.
