Was segregation really needed? NO.Having spoke to some of the Nuneaton Officials yesterday they told me they had a handful of non supporters coursing the problems at home games which they have now sorted out. The segregation was forced on us with the early K/O by the police and others with so called intelligence they had. I still don't know what it was but it cost the club in loss of income to both the bar and in attendance and we had to bring in six extra stewards for the day. When are those agency going to realize this is WCFC not Man Utd or Chelsea.
As suggested on the day Colin, perhaps one should request the intelligence under the 'Freedom of Information Act.'

I mean if something happens in way of safety !! True. But thats the case regardless of segregation. Mind you, you might get your bollocks chewed a bit on an individual issue, but you're not going to be one standing up in court But my point isn't about the Nuneaton game in isolation, its about the whole issue of segregation at small time football matches of very little importance in the tinpot league. The impact of segregation on behaviour is quite interesting, I've seen young kids acting in ways they would never do if there wasnt a protective fence between them and the big people they're trying to torment! I'd quite happily call Charles Bronson (not the actor) a wimpy turd burglar if there was a cage separating us! Whatsmore, the undesirables hear the word "segregation" and think its a war-call to cause trouble. I'm with colin on this, why should the club and non-league football suffer because the police can't figure out that we are playing a different sport to Leeds United or Millwall. When I go to away games I choose to stand with away supporters, thats what many non-league football supporters do (and I know of at least 2 Nuneaton supporters who did just that on Monday) Non-league football should do everything it possibly can to differentiate itself from the other game. It should be seen as a proper family entertainment, like both codes of rugby (don't give me that class difference between rugby and football, working class rugby league manages to avoid segregation), the pure real football game! Maybe I'm in a timewarp, if so, I'll stay there thank you, and enjoy the congenial atmosphere of Sixways, Rodney Parade and Craven Park.

Oh dear - After being substituted , Glover now has even more competition up front. You will never guess who he has replaced in that squad........! Well at least he will be paid well for keeping the bench warm.

After his and Wards disgusting behaviour at the end of that game I'm glad they are not playing for us anymore.
I still feel if we had Edwards, Brown, Macca and Corbett then we would of beaten them as they weren't special at all !!
