A brief match report as I can't remember any scorers/exact times of goals etc.
We started brightly with a goal after about a minute, by half time we were about 5-0 up. Minehead had some good spells but lacked the final pass/control at the crucial moment. At the end of the first half City were trying to walk the ball into the net without success. The second half started much the same as the first with a goal early on, a couple of deserved penalities from trips in the box, nothing malicious just late with the tackle. A couple of good goals from outside the box amongst the 9 but all in all nothing much proven against a side so much lower down the pyramid than us.

The score, as announced by BBCHW at 8.30 this morning, was 3-1 to City! Now, which was it? 9-0 or 3-1?

The game I watched didn't end 3-1! I'm pretty sure it was 9-0, I did lose count a little bit though.

It was 9-0. According to Facebook!!
Revenge for that FAC defeat there, almost 30 years ago, finally.

Yes it was 9-0 - 3-0 at halftime
Goals were (in order) Corbett Corbett McGregor
Symonds Brown (penalty) Symonds Symonds (Penalty) Brown Charlton (35 yard beauty!!)
A couple of good goals amongst them, Asa's was a beauty.
Did not travel, Birley, Clarke, Nwadkie and Carey-Bertram was an unused sub.

Asa Hartford aye, maybe with a 35 yard screamer it could well of been Bobby Charlton

Thought Brown only got 1 a pen.
The cross for the other looked like it went straight in and was from Danny Edwards

No match report in todays Worcester News - in fact no mention of WCFC at all (which is par for the course). But I think there was a journalist's strike or something today.

You may be right and probably have the photographic evidence to go with it. I wasn't sure if Brown got the final touch or not, plus I had an Ice Cream dribbling down my chin
