Great news for them and I am so happy for them. It's so great how far they have come and just shows what true fans can do when they want something enough.
Now all I want is them to overtake MK Dons!!!!!

I am waiting for the day (not too long now I think) when they play MK Dons. Now that should be some grudge match!
And to think we beat them 3-2 not more than two seasons ago!

Cheers, Niels......this was somewhere near the best 0-0 draw that I will ever see. I said to people before the game that I'd be crying like a baby if we won, and would shrug my shoulders if we lost....thankfully the tears flowed!
So it took less than 9 years for the proverbial middle finger to be extended to the FA........"not in the wider interests of football"......stick it.
As an aside, I was lucky enough to be in the inner sanctum at The City of Manchester Stadium before the game, where I espied a certain Mr D.Boddy on Conference duties- he was left in little doubt of what I thought of his attempts to drive WCFC into financial oblivion. Think he was a bit surprised that i was clued up on (one of) his past failures.
And Tim- lets hope that we go up, they go down and justice will have been done.
Just think of the fun that MK could have had over the last nine years if they'd have gone about things the right way.
Thanks again everyone

Don't forget about us poor non league tiddlers now you've made the big time! Hope you'll still pop down the Lane now and again.

I see Dave Boyle (Suppoerters Direct CEO) rather over did some Tweets aimed at Pete Winkelman and a lawyer involved in approving the MK move. They started out celebratory but got vitriolic to the extent that the finance plug has been pulled by the powers that be partly from the Premier League as it was deemed unacceptable and SD should have acted stronger. Dave has now resigned and talks are likely soon

I suspect there was an element of "pay back" as I am sure he has been a thorn in the sides of a lot of the cronyism that exists throughout football. Not being a tweeter myself I thought it was an anonymous means of electronic messaging?
