I am a Telford fan (don't hold it against me!!) currently studying at Bournemouth University. I'm writing an essay looking into fan loyalty aiming to discover whether non-league fans are also likely to support another team higher up in the football pyramid, so need as much help from non league fans as possible. I would be very grateful if you could fill out this questionnaire, it will take 2-4 minutes. Please note that you must be male and aged 18 or above. Many thanks in advance! Thank you to all who have taking part.
I have decided to use all males because in a journal written by James and Ridinger in 2002, they stated that Females are more likely to be a fan of many teams. Therefore already answering my question that non-league fans, especially females are likely to support two teams. The study suggests that as sports fans males are likely to support one specific team. I'm looking to disprove this.
Maybe in my final year I can look further into patterns of womens loyalties as sports fans
