To all traveling to Nunny tomorrow please be aware that there is a good chance that segregation will be in place.
We are still waiting for 100% confirmation from Nuneaton and as soon as we get this we will confirm on here, along with any further information we may have aka Turnstile entry etc etc
If this does happen can I make aware that there is no access to the Clubhouse.

Ahh don't believe everything you read in the papers, unless it's a quote from the club then it's usually a stab in the dark!!
We are working on 150 - 200, obviously more would be fantastic

I can confirm that the match WILL be segregated, All City fans are to enter via Turnstiles 1-3.
Please note that there will be a significant Police presence, expected overall attendance on the day around 1,000.

300 City fans say Nuneaton; 150-200 says Verner. Why would that number travel to Liberty Way when not many more than that get down to SGL? if it was a cup game, maybe. If there are over 100 City fans there tomorrow, it'll be a good effort. It's an unpleasant ground to watch football - I was there for the Trophy game; one visit a season is more than enough for me.

We are working on 150 - 200, obviously more would be fantastic Nuneaton website says: "Nuneaton Town Football Club has been advised by Warwickshire Police to segregate tomorrows Blue Square Bet North Game. WORCESTER GAME SEGREGATED image Home supporters will enter via the usual turnstiles, with away entering via turnstiles 1-3. The club has been requested to take this action by the Police due to Worcester City's expectation of up to 300 supporters. From tomorrow, Warwickshire Police will now have a visible presence at all home games. " Who told them 300??!!

Silly plod.
Wanting to justify the overtime by exaggerating the crowd, extracting the urine surely?
When have we taken 300 there, not for a few decades??

Am I' correct in thinking that a club official rings up the opossing team and asks for guidance on how many fans expecting to take so they can take action e.g Segregation?

At this level, am guessing mainly 'No'. What difference would that make anyway?

Because some one at the club would of said up to 300 If that's why nuneaton thought 300, oh well we might take 300

Because some one at the club would of said up to 300 If that's why nuneaton thought 300, oh well we might take 300 Yes clubs at this level do contact each other, Nuneaton were told between 100 - 200 could be expected. There were 79 in the City end, a further 26 in seated stand which would make our estimations of 100 - 200 spot on! The figure of 300 came out of the blue completely unless of course as it was the Police who forced the game to be segregated and neither of the clubs then maybe they had intelligence of a different kind OR played it safe. Nobody at WCFC told them to expect 300!! Which would point out we know what we are doing!!

Felt we should have got a point today. Little between the sides, few clearcut chances. Frustrating way to concede the winner
Bit perplexed by the substitutions today - we could have done with McGregor's physical presence in the last half an hour (assume he was just knackered). And Danks was our most threatening player, but was removed way before the end?

I think City were unlucky not to come away with a point yesterday. Easily the better team in the first half. 2nd half was more even but a draw would have been fair

And Danks was our most threatening player, but was removed way before the end? I think McGregor was taken off because of the injury to his hand. Every time he got knocked or landed on it after he did it you could see it was bothering him. I agree on the Danks substitution though, I thought that was a strange decision. I thought he looked dangerous and was worrying Nuneaton

City sadly missed O'Connor's strength in midfield yesterday.
But oh, that goalkeeper Franklin worried me from their first attack on goal. He was pretty shaky. His kicking was somewhat off too. The second goal could be blamed on the goalkeeper miskicking. But a draw, as said above, would have been more deserving to the City.
As for the segregation, I entered the ground and stood with Nuneaton supporters throughout the game, and had a thoroughly entertaining afternoon with friendly chats. There were approximately 70 or 80 on the away supporters end
The seating has had the covering taken down for some reason or other. And as it was a damp afternoon sitting in them would have been uncomfortable.
Then just before the end of the game it was announced that the Away supporters would not be released from the ground for ten minutes. Which brought howls of laughter from with Nuneaton supporters around me.
Another pointless exercises. I would think that the Warwickshire Police had a lot of egg on their faces.
