Kieran has missed his train for about the 50th time this season.
And he has the cheek to moan about Virgin Trains' timekeeping.

How exciting. Someone I don't know has missed a train You know he is a City fan on the way to a game so, for the purposes of this messageboard, what more do you need to know? Having said that, wake me up when something interesting happens, please....

Having said that, wake me up when something interesting happens, please.... Is he? right. Thought he might have been Darrells brother going to work. There can't be many city fans catching trains at 9.00 in the morning to get to a game in Nuneaton, so its not an obvious guess. Specially not a virgin train they don't run around Worcester do they?

Well he does live in leeds so it would make sense, some dedication I think going to every game home and away travelling from leeds and even paid a £160 taxi fare to get to a game one time.

And he has the cheek to moan about Virgin Trains' timekeeping. I should usually be happy with their poor timekeeping as the train is often later than I am so I can still manage to catch it!

It doesn't really help when you wake up 20 minutes after the train's due departure time!

Kieran has missed his train for about the 50th time this season. I still haven't missed kick off for any game this season although it's been close a few times.

As soon as I said to Jess over the phone 400 yards past the railway bridge, they found it - that's exactly what I said beforehand.

Hell man don't jump my throat so much. What difference does it make? all the difference in the world. I worked with a guy out of Toronto, he worked the tracks so not a big earner. But he followed the Maple Leafs everywhere, sounds like a loyal and dedicated fan hey. But the same guy had wife and a couple of kids that he never saw and all his money went on airfares to see his team, his family went without a lot of things cos this guy was really just godamn selfish. To his buddies at the game he was a great guy. to his family he was an ***hole. Anyone who'd give £160 to a taxi driver to see a nonleague football game instead of providing for their family would need some serious therapy. Thats what difference it makes. Don't think I'm critical of this Kieran being a single man, don't be so assumptive.

I'm sure the guy used to beat on his wife too if she said anything about his loyalty and dedication to his team. Hey if I was single then I'd fly over for games while I'm on secondment here but I'm not. I used to read the old board to get a feel as to how things were really going and thought I'd get involved on this one but it seems to be a bit too buddy buddy for me. I'm outta the Mazeys Mates board.
