I think it's high time we won. The players that we can field (and I am assuming our front two will be McGregor and Polan - unless Elvins is pushed forward for the night) ought to be motivated by their defeat at Corby in the F A Cup if nothing else.
City to win 2-1.

I fear that I may be the only one watching football on Monday night, with the Mighty Fram playing a friendly with Þróttur, indoors.

Now in my opinion, if this country was serious about sport then every town would have a facility like this. www.egilshollin.is/and then you can also do things like this and things like this That´s metallica´s backsides in case you don't recognise them.

I predict match abandoned due to a frozen pitch

and then our country would be as bankrupt as yours! Newsflash!!! Your country is far more bankrupt than mine, it's just that it's shared amongst more people so not many people have actually realised yet.

Now Come, Come, Niels! Your were born in the British Isles weren't you? Just because your Dad came from the Frozen North, doesn't make you Icelandic, but of Icelandic descent.
My father was born in south London, but it doesn't make me a Londoner.

Tony. I was born in Landspítalan (National Hospital), Reykjavík 101, moved to Denmark at an early age and came to the UK at the age of 11. Legally I am complete Icelandic (Icelandic passport, born to Icelandic parents) however bloodwise I am half Icelandic half Danish. My father having come to Iceland from Denmark at the age of 11, changing his Nationality in order to marry my mum, as the Danes weren't very popular in Iceland at the time. So in conclusion I am Icelandic, could be Danish if I wanted to (mainly at World Cups) but in no way English, although my kids are half and half. Also if I have anything to do with the matter Iceland is where I'll die.

I'm sure tomorrow's match will be OFF. It was -8°C in Broadheath last night and I dug some parsnips this morning for lunch with a mighty big digging fork. The ground was like rock and the same, or worse, forecast for tonight.
The way things are lining up the match where Danks and Glover are suspended will be the Northwich game! If a thaw started tomorrow it'd take till next Saturday for the ground to thaw out sufficiently for football.

No its not, its in debt, but the debts are serviceable enough for this country to maintain its triple A rating. I believe that Icelands is still at BAA3 which is a whole lot lower, and at a point where debts arent serviceable, banks cannot function, a truly bankrupt country. First bankers being prosecuted by the government, and now the govenrment being prosecuted by investors!

So in an almost predictable turn of events the official independent report, by a Norweigan, on the Icelandic crash puts a sizable amount of the blame on a British company. Turns out that Pricewaterhousecoopers did not audit Lansbanki properly and allowed their owners to borrow well beyond their means . The auditors face 2 years in prison while the Icelandic people face years of hardship because of a few greedy and incompetent people.
