Am I right in thinking that if we did get a draw away then Glover and Danks's suspensions would kick in for that match rather than the Corby game? So Danks wouldn't be able to get both as you put it.
Nuneaton are the form team; I can't see us getting anything out of this one.

I think its only league games it counts for as when you get 5 yellows its instant suspension next game and that would be saturday so if we draw or not they will miss the corby game

The FA web site seems to back this up to. It is league games, altho it is not totally clear. Their statement said for both Dan & mark "Suspended from all first team football until the Club have completed 1 first team match for 5 cautions' starting 27/11/2010 Had to laugh, he who we know as Tom Evans they call Tommy Evans Tommy Evans Start 22/11/2010 finish 13/12/2010 Suspended from all football until the Club have completed 3 first team matches for a Sending Off in a match played on 08/11/2010

So that means Tom Evans will be available on Saturday, but not any replay, if I read that correctly?

I'm guessing that when cautioed he's givingt his name as Tommy Evans. This kind of thing would never be accepted by the Stourport League, who used to reprimand secretaries for shortening the names of players - he'd have been Thomas Evans!! I got into a bit of trouble once for putting Charles O'Driscoll on the teansheet as Charles Driscoll - they couldn't figure out that it was the same guy!! I don't think he was ever called Charles, even by his Mum, when she was VERY angry!! These suspensions are going to seriously stretch the squad, Carl has simply got to strengthen now before we hit a relegation battle.

Carl keeps banging on about discipline; when will our players learn?
I haven't seen internal punishment being applied for red and yellow cards. Perhaps I've missed something.

It will be only my second City game of the season, so I'm expecting the boys to pull out all the stops and come away with a 2-1 win (Thorley 2 - one a penalty; King C and Mark D please note!)

Danksy will not let any one else take one as im sure he is the penalty taker.

I am hoping Carl will keep Danks firmly away from penalty duty. He has missed two and the one he scored the 'keeper got a hand too (Telford) but didn't keep it out. Personally either Thorley or Glover would be my choice. McGregor took a good penalty at Corby when he really smashed it home, shame they equalised a minute later, but he is not set to start every game

I am going with a 1-1 draw. Mark Clyde header from a corner on his return

So, georgethebassett and hellion were the only ones to predict the outcome correctly. I was very glad to get it wrong.
