Suppose it's too late in the day, but they could have played that WSC game then.....

Or the home league game with Stafford - which is scheduled for a Tuesday night graveyard slot on Dec 28, sandwiched between the two Gloucester games. (A sure fire candidate for a frozen pitch postponement).

That makes even more sense, given the problems of last winter!
Does anyone from the club hierarchy ever read this MB, though I'm sure a game this Saturday is too late?? But they should be more proactive in future.....

Didnt neils raise money for pitch covering for the winter? Indeed, that was the what the bike ride to staines was all about wasn't it Have they been bought yet? I remember too well the long drive to arrive just as the ref called off the Kiddy game - only for it to be played on a pitch that wasn't nearly as soft a few days later They reckon it won't be as cold this year as it was last year - so that means a deep freeze all winter lol

I believe it has been bought, and will cover the problem area in front of the mian stand. i just hope they look after these covers better than they did the previous set that was generously provided to the club by an individual. I'm sure though even the covers are in safer hands now!!

That's what we got our thousand pounds for; bit it's only nominal compensation ain't it? Think of the lost revenue at the bar.

Evesham are 'at home' on Saturday. Given the weather forecast (snow likely) will the results of Niels bike ride to Staines be unveiled?

TTK. The covering is expected mid-December, which hopefully won't be too late. Ealing. No scars but the knee strain I picked up a few weeks before the ride still hasn't gone away. Brooky. The one part of that picture is about right, now it has finally recovered from the bike ride, but the other two are slightly bigger than mine.
