And what a poor one sided commentary it was.
Also the commentators were speaking about anything but the game. Just before half-time the were telling us that the spectators were leaving the terraces to get in the queue for the sausages and chips with plenty of sauce on them. If this is the quality of Radio Shropshire's commentary. Well!!!!

Didn't hear any of it as I was at the game but the fact that it was one sided does not surprise me in the least.Reading theTelford fans forum I cannot believe that some of them were at the same game as I was.Apparently both our team and the officials are nothing but a talentless bunch of cheats.I thought how good it was that we had a ref who was old enough to shave and didn't fall into the big crowd trap and award them absolutley everything. It is obvious that they are used to that judging by some of the remarks(Same last week on Bostons site too). One guy even said that it wasn't a penalty and their guy clearly won the ball!!!!Unless I am much mistaken, viewing from the other end of the pitch, and if so I apologise,it looked an absolute stone wall one to me-Couldn't have argued against it even if it had been against us.

I liked the summariser who they had on from the Shropshire Star- he at last twice told the biased commentator who was screaming for a penalty/free kick/instant death to our players "actually I think that was rather a good tackle by the Worcester player there"

I've only heard our commentary in full a couple of times as as i run the away travel i'm at 99.99% of our games .I would be interested in how you feel it compares with the coverage Worcester recieve ? Regards Rob.

Rob, Mainly monotone, occasionally excitable and pretty unbiased IMO. The latter being simply that's there's usually very little credibility otherwise.

I think it was certainly a penalty and you will notice that very few Telford players complained either. They knew it was. There number 8 was digging at Danny Glover the whole game (Until Glover went off) I happened to looking directly at the incident in their goal mouth when their defender kicked Glover in the achilies and he should have seen a red for that but got a yellow as i don't think the Lineo' or ref saw it even tho they spoke together. Can anyone tell me what was happening on the touchline. I saw King Carl pushing and having a real rant with the Telford bench. One of the official had to come between them. He pushed our physio out of the way to give one of the Telford bench a right mouthful and Mark Clyde had to pull him off to calm down. What caused all that? Was that on the commentary? I thought he went to school with one of them, good to see that his loyalty to City goes beyond that! I think Carl is doing a really good job and praise again for the board for making him permanent manager and not delaying it when they could easily have done so!!
